Enjoyed the overall experience but this clearly wasnt the best room on offer at this location. A decent amount of the set was pretty work and needs some attention. One puzzle in the first section fell flat for us with how cumbersome it was to operate a simple contraption. The later part of the room had more polish and cool set pieces and the ending was satisfying.

This was a fun take on the spy trope. Some of the puzzles were hard to solve because the pieces were worn down. One of the puzzles at the very beginning was already opened, though we didn’t realize that until we solved the puzzle. There was a puzzle towards the end that was too easy to reset after it was solved, which was an annoyance. And finally, there’s a puzzle where you can drop pieces and not be able to reach them (there were a bunch laying there from previous attempts it appeared). We were fortunate enough not to lose one, but something could have been added like a net to prevent that. With all that nitpicking out of the way, the story and puzzles were quite fun to solve! I like the public games and getting random partners.

This game did feel a lot less corporate than prison break! There were several clever moments and neat puzzles, but the gameplay was a little stilted and playing with 4 people felt like far too many, it’s more of a 2-3 player game. Overall, a good time, worth it if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t travel for this game

Overall the room was very nice! I almost wish I went through with a stronger group and maybe we would have enjoyed it a bit more but overall, I would definitely say that it is worth giving a shot. Although, I didn't really like how the receptionist said the booking were open to the public up until the room starts? I feel like a booking should be good to close an hour or so out like most other escape rooms do even if that leaves a slightly higher chance of more people booking.

The room had a good variety of puzzles. It is a bit dim so flashlights were critical plus they said we could use our phone lights. We had to share the room with 3 young men. This made the room more challenging and we believe with just 2 of us we may have solved it faster as well as has a better time. Much prefer rooms where we book private rather than share with strangers.

Successfully done with 2. Really cool set!! So much detail. Really cool transition and effects, leading to a wow moment. Actual puzzles were just okay.

Escape Game Chicago is a great location with several great rooms. Special Ops was a lot of fun. Having 4 people max is optimal for this room (5 was too many, as a few of us felt bored and cramped at times).
