264 escape rooms
We played this room after Operation Treehouse and it felt like a bit of a let down. Everything in Treehouse had a great look look and flow and this room just didn't live up to the comparison. The set had lots of fun nods to the 80s but they had a run down feel to them. If we're supposedly back in this time frame then everything should have a fresh feel. I know it's a nitpicky note but that was running through my head during the game. Now, on the plus side, they ran a video on a corner television set that had classic commercials. I got a kick out of seeing these that I had not seen in years! The puzzles were fun but nothing that thrilled me. We also had an incident where a solution that was supposed to be manually triggered was missed by the GM and when they did end up triggering it we had no idea and needed to be nudged to look in the other room. This would be a good room if you're with some younger family members.
