Saying this is a new game is VERY misleading - this is a game bought from a different location, and you can tell via the scuffed nature of stuff. Puzzles are fine - nothing new if you’ve played a good amount of escape rooms, but you can feel the effect of multiple ghost puzzles in the room.
GM was horrible - the only thing we needed help on he did not realize WHAT was wrong and misled us with hints until I noticed what the actual issue was (which was us not adding one thing to a solution). Also literally do not know his name because he never mentioned it… which is the first thing a GM should do. The worst I’ve had.
It was fine. We solved a lot of stuff quickly with three puzzles slowing us down - however, two were our fault and natural. One though was a disabled mag lock that just… wasn’t working anymore. That’s not a hidden door. That’s a ghost puzzle.
Nothing horrible, but you can definitely tell it’s worn and not new. Very stereotypical Mayan temple - if you think Indiana Jones, you’ve got it.
Horrendous - wrong clues, not welcoming, and we never even got his name.
Particularly interesting or different
No
What story? You’re finding a skull, but the GM just stumbled through the story.
Felt like we were consistently hitting puzzles - nothing really crazy. Simple but multi-step at points.
High tech - one lock that made sense, rest are tech locks.
Honestly the three I played with were perfectly fine. Could do more but it’s a good amount for any group.
You start in dim light but it’s not scary.
No issues with sight or sound and nothing crazy.
Mag lock that is part of last thing to do not properly closed. A “secret drawer” is a disabled mag lock below a ghost puzzle. Multiple things in room have numbers that mean nothing.
Physically active

A LOT of sound puzzles.
