Haunted Circus

Loved this escape room, though it's not for the faint hearted or clown-terrified person! Loads of creepy details and great variety of clues to solve. The Gamemaster was welcoming and informative too!

Everything you want in a circus room and more! Atmosphere and tension are through the roof; it's like being in a haunt environment, except you get to take your time instead of having to rush and shuffle through. The range of puzzles here is quite impressive, as are the size of some of the installations. Mostly multi-linear and very much NOT your typical "find numbers then arrange them". The lighting and sound are fantastic and add so much to the immersion too. It's really a phenomenal game that has so much love and passion from the team haunting its halls, and it's spooky AS HELL. Spooky in that Are You Afraid of the Dark and Goosebumps kinda way, but also mildly terrifying with the live actor who you can feel watching you at every turn! Perfect for a smaller team too: we were 42mins as a team of 2 and it felt right in the sweet spot. If you're reading this wondering whether to go or not, just drop everything and book right now! Nomad are building something special.

Just a joyful experience even though I was scared witless. I don’t know how anyone can solve puzzles while attempting this room with an actor but if you like being terrified and challenged in equal measure then book this right now. We chose to go on a weekday so as to give the actor the day off. The room is proper creepy and doesn’t need the actor to be eerie. The puzzles are smart and funny and unique. I don’t want to give any spoilers but I’ll just say that I would pay to spend an hour in the room just having fun. We’re saddened that this is our last room at Nomad . . . but over the moon that a new room is on the way. We can’t wait. Everything that Fran and Richard do is a testament to their enthusiasm and skill. This is top tier escaping and we just want more.

Haunted Circus is soooo good!!! I was blown out of the park with how good the room looked and how I felt transported into an actual haunted circus. It is well worth it to book with the live actor, so spooky! Super fun, couldn't recommend it enough.

Absolutely outstanding! Definitely not for the faint hearted but so so much fun. I hate horror movies so had no idea why I was there at the start but Absolutely loved it and was so proud of myself for completing it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time and managed to rescue the Golden Clown Horn Award despite being haunted by Riddles the clown. Great puzzles as always from Nomad and nice and spooky, ideal for halloween. Loved it!
