It’s 2834 you and the crew are returning from a very successful deep space mission. In an instant you go from smooth sailing to abandon ship. A irreversible warp core breach has occurred and the abandon ship alarm fills the air. In an instant the crew and shuttle craft have launched. This leaves you on the bridge with the task of accessing the bridge transporter room and then beam to safety. It would seem a minor task; however, the bridge crew and captain were on the first shuttle. You assess the situation and decide that having no starship experience is only a minor setback. 69 escape rooms

I’ve done all the other rooms for this company and really enjoyed them, but this one was a disappointment. The solve was very linear, some of the puzzle solutions weren’t intuitive or the input methods were unclear, some parts just didn’t work. For the newest room in the company it felt like someone’s first attempt at an escape room. And there were no puzzle locks, just touch screens to solve on and input the right sequence of button pushing, which felt very samey.

Gameplay

A fun “spaceship malfunction” theme but it don’t flow particularly well

Atmosphere

Set design was immersive and props were good when they worked.

Customer service

Staff was fantastic. Attic was our game master and they were absolutely great. Immersive and fun!

No

Story

There wasn’t much of a story to navigate through aside from “get to the teleporter before the ship explodes”.

Difficulty

Medium

The most difficult part was getting the buttons to work.

The correct sequence for one puzzle didn’t work until the umpteenth time we input it and one part was supposed to open a series of boxes that didn’t open
