This was a VERY hard escape room. We’ve done quite a few and never not escaped until this one. You cannot ask for clues when you need them, they only appear in 10 minute intervals. The puzzles were not always intuitive and were not connected to each other. Technically there seemed to be issues, like the flashlights not working or the sound of the initial video not on and then very loud. We spent a lot of time on some puzzles and then never used them. It was annoying that they would not explain the puzzles at the end, because they want us to come back, but being tourists it is very unlikely we will ever be able to. The atmosphere and thematics were great and the setting on the Lexington was very cool.
The puzzles were very difficult and not often intuitive. The premise was interesting but there seemed to be a lot of technical issues. Clues are given in 10 minute intervals so if you’re stuck on something you have to wait for the next one. There were several puzzles we spent a lot of time on and then never used. Often puzzles were found at random without any indication of where or why they existed. One particular puzzle had a completely unnecessary “detonation” that meant you had to start over each time, wasting a lot of time.
Very cool setting on the Lexington and the theme tied in perfectly. Set design and some of the mechanisms were novel. The intro videos were very detailed and high quality.
Staff was welcoming and helpful.
