Saddle up, gang-- it's time to ride into the Wild West. After striking gold, you and your band of prospectors were robbed, taken hostage, and handcuffed inside the infamous Outhouse Kid's saloon. He's rigged the joint with all sorts of tricks, traps, puzzles, and who knows what to keep his loot secure. Your mission: break in, free your compadres, and steal back your gold. Circle the wagons, and get to work. You have one hour ‘til dusk.

This is one of my favorite games at Breakout, after Clue. I really loved the theme and the set, although simple, fit with it. Many of the puzzles fit with the theme and made sense to the story. This was a fairly fast room for our group of 5 enthusiasts, but I think this would be a really fun room for kids. I didn’t feel like any of the puzzles were too difficult, although there were a couple that our team had to get help on. If you’re headed to Breakout for a game, my recommendations would be Clue, Wild West, and Monopoly.
Evan was our GM and he was great!

Granted, this has only been open a couple weeks, but we set the record with 5 enthusiasts and there were one or two things we got stumped over and spun our wheels for a few minutes until we asked for a clue.
Mechanical
Mix of sensors and padlocks.

We did a group of 5 and that was a bit too many. You start out in two rooms and one of the rooms is fairly small. There were a few consecutive puzzles but a lot of the room is linear so there’s not much for a large group to do

I think kids would absolutely adore this game!
Yes
I think someone on our team broke one of the pieces, but the GM was great about it. We also had a few tech items that were a bit glitchy, which was kind of disappointing since the game just opened.

There were a couple puzzles that required scent and sound. I have trouble hearing and some of the voiceovers and sound effects I had trouble hearing.

Rating: 3/5 - One of the better Breakout rooms, but not their best Enjoyable room, not too difficult. There was a decent variety of puzzles that were on-theme, but nothing innovative. It was a mix of padlocks and electronics, probably more tech than a lot of their other rooms besides CLUE and Monopoly. I liked the use of voiceover and other audio and the set since it was decorated floor to ceiling. The beginning was interesting due to a split start and the ending was also fairly satisfying. There is technically more than 1 room, but it feels more like 1.5. We played as a team of 5 enthusiasts, but that was probably too many, I'd recommend 2-4. I've played all the rooms at this location, my personal ranking starting with my favorite: 1. Monopoly ❤️ 2. Clue ❤️ 3. Wild West 👍 4. Museum Heist 👍 5. Bomb Squad/Undercover Alley 👍 6. Submarine Survival 👍 7. Mystery Mansion 👍 8. Runaway Train 👎 9. Kidnapping 2 👎 10. Island Escape 👎 11. The Kidnapping 👎
