The puzzles got better as the game went on and ended on a strong note. I would recommend this room to smaller groups as larger groups may have people standing around feeling superfluous due to the mostly linear nature of this room. I have rarely encountered a toolkit to use in the room, and I appreciated that immersive detail that made the game more fun. I was initially worried that this toolkit would be too complex and would feel like a chore, but my fears were quickly set aside as this was not the case. Overall, I had a positive experience and fun playing this game with my family.

This was an all around very good game. It was all tech and everything worked. The game master and one of the owners, Nick, was very good at hint-giving, and both the set and puzzles helped to elevate immersion into the storyline. This room did not have as many puzzles as I had expected but most puzzles had multiple parts. Our group of 5 worked as the game moved between non-linear and linear puzzle tracks, but more people would’ve been too many. Strengths + Multi-step, layered puzzles that were satisfying to solve + Flawless tech integration that felt and looked like magic, adding to storyline immersion + Good accessibility accommodations for mobility and color blindness + High-stakes, adrenaline-pumping, fun ending + The recruit’s toolkit given to us really made it feel like we had agency in stealing this diamond, and made it feel less “escape room-y” and more like an action movie. Areas to Improve/ Personal Preferences - 1 or 2 areas of the set felt not as detailed as other areas - 1 computer puzzle overstayed its welcome

Top Notch. If you've done 60 to escape, it's right up there in caliber. Great puzzles, and a unique twist with the gadgets you get. Can't wait for the next room to open.

After playing 60 to escape my bar was set pretty high for escape rooms. Redacted has not only reached the bar but raised it with their enjoyable and tricky puzzles and interactive gameplay. I will be visiting again

Loved the unique tasks and clever use of multiple rooms. They nudged just rightly as needed or when asked. The whole scenario was well put together and exciting every turn. The fact that it didn’t feel linear was an added bonus. You can tell this team loves to make puzzles and games and take a lot of pride in their work.

After reading all the hype of the newly opened Redacted room, Heist Havoc, we went into it with great expectations. We had a fantastic experience and my expectations were fulfilled (almost). Before you enter the room, you are given a briefcase of tools and a guide on how to use the tools. The set design of the room was Hollywood-like quality with great attention to detail. Everything in the room was clean and looked like a real Art Gallery. When we started, we immediately made connections with certain observations, but struggled a bit to move forward with the info we gained. We used some of the tools right away, but others we put off using until later when we really should have used them sooner. There is tons of technology used in this room and no traditional locks (which is great). However, it was almost weird to play a game like this as your brain is use to thinking in a different manner. As we were only a team of 3 and we just got done with another room earlier in the evening, we were a little tired tonight and our connections were not being made as quickly. I would definitely recommend having at least 4 people, as there is a lot to do during the 90 minutes. After our initial struggles, we started to connect the dots in the room and make progress. From there, the room flowed really well. Everything in the room worked perfectly and the execution of the puzzle reveals were crisp and ignited excitement. My favorite parts of the room were when you have to crawl into an area and after we tripped the alarm. These physical movements, while done in this immersive room, makes you feel like you are actually in a art gallery stealing something. All your senses are on high-alert at various times giving you an extra rush of excitement. Customer service at Redacted was amazing. We talked with one of the owners (Nick) for awhile before we started about ERs overall and what they are planning for the future. During the game, he gave us great nudges when we were stumbling, and he even gave us extra time in order to experience the entire room and complete it (which we greatly appreciated). We were also the last group of the night and it was well past 11pm when we left, so letting us finish meant him having to stay late. This is a room you should definitely check out. Looking forward to the summer release of their next room.

My wife and I found "Heist Havoc" after doing some searching and I’m so glad that we did! Redacted Escape Rooms is an independent escape room company that just opened in October, and they've absolutely nailed it with their first room. We were super impressed. Without giving anything away, the finale was the coolest thing. It felt like we were in a high-production movie.

Gameplay

Fun and flowed well!

Atmosphere

The room(s) itself is exceptionally well-designed. The multi-room layout keeps things interesting, and they use some innovative technology/puzzles. I loved that we started with a briefcase containing tools that made us feel like real heist professionals from the start. Atmosphere was immersive with excellent design and effects. Without giving anything away, the finale was the coolest thing. It felt like we were in a high-production movie.

Customer service

Nick, the game master and one of the owners, was fantastic. He was proactive and helped with time management, monitoring our progress and letting us know periodically that we were on track with time based on our progress. He gave just the right amount of help with clues when we asked. Didn’t give anything away.

We were definitely moving around. I would say about what you would expect in an escape room. Nothing that made us break a sweat, but also.

Accessibility

There's a section with some ducking and crawling that adds to the experience, though the rest of the space is open and easy to navigate. Also, one part that requires stepping over sensors. So the room is playable by someone with a mobility disability, as long as there is someone else in the room with them.

Easy to find location

Yes

The location was easy to find on Google Maps and had plenty of parking. We drove 30 minutes to get there and it was absolutely worth the trip.

Their puzzle design is top notch! Great use of props, room decor, and deduction. My only complaint is that it wasn’t even longer. Recommend maybe 6 puzzlers, or up to 8 aimless friends
