Step into an ’80s-style arcade and relive the golden age of gaming. But beneath the glow and sound, something isn’t quite right. The machines are glitching… and their creator has disappeared. To find him, you’ll need to do more than play. Leap into a glowing world beyond the circuit board. What starts as nostalgic fun becomes a neon soaked digital adventure as you uncover a reality hidden beyond the screen. Step inside. The games are more real than you ever imagined.

Highly recommend to anyone who loves the movies! Get a high on nostalgia and a feeling of how movie related escape rooms should be done. One of our favorite escape rooms we’ve visited. Not crazy difficult but you have a blast going through the story. Time flies when you’re having fun, or when you’re fighting for the USERS!

Gameplay

So much fun! Took my family and my brother who is a huge fan of the original movie. This was one of the best experiences we have had in an escape room. So much nostalgia and immersion. Felt like we were living the movie. Core memory ❤️

Atmosphere

Every game, puzzle, and prop was thought out and interactive to both the IP and mechanics of the game. Felt like we were in Flynn’s Arcade. And without any spoilers, how it begins is wonderful for any fans of the franchise.

Customer service

We were treated and greeted amazingly by Daniel. Even though we were the last and latest room of the day, 10pm. He was so nice to meet, immersive in the game, and just as energetic. Great and welcoming!

Difficulty

Medium

Intuitive, so creative, and immersive to the actual IP of the movie and games. A mix of both linear and non linear elements. My partner loved some of the physical aspects as well. Great diversity of puzzles and problem solving.

This is a great addition to their portfolio and I love their style. If you played their other rooms you will enjoy this. Not as many puzzles as Treasure Island but a few of them took some time to solve. The music was a real treat. The neon lights were nostalgic. The way hints were received added to the immersion. There were a lot of satisfying moment! Suit up and enter the grid!

Flynn's Arcade is an escape room that runs on memory. Its nostalgia is both sentimental and functional, and an essential part of the puzzle design. But although it has an incredibly confident beginning, it also has a shakier ending. +the game begins before you think it does, and before you know it, you're walking up the steps to a glowing red door. Definitely a fun opening. +many escape rooms use video games. None have done it as well as they do here. They've customized classic and created layered puzzles that are both immersive and propulsive. +Speaking of which, they may be old games, but they've been taught some new tricks. They look like the ones you remember, but they don't exactly behave the same way. +/-The transition into the final third of the game is cinematic and breathtaking. It truly is one of those “wow” moments. +/-there's a tension in the final room between cinematic design and puzzle design. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. -the last room in meant to echo the aesthetics of Tron... it's also supposed to make you feel like you're in Tron... but it slows down in a series of primary physical puzzles. I've always liked physical puzzles and I appreciate the effort to make it feel like you're physically battling your way through Tron, but the puzzles didn't have the interest or complexity of the first room. -There were opportunities to lean more into the narrative. The game hints at a story it never manages to tell. The puzzles and aesthetics gesture toward a narrative that could have been explored... why we're here, what we're fighting for, what are the costs of failure or success?

Really fun escape room, especially if you like the Tron movies (but prior knowledge of Tron is not necessary). Our GM Jon was great at stepping in at the right time to give us hints and adjusting how cryptic or straightforward the hints were based on how much we seemed to struggle (you can also request no hints, but my team appreciated them). Puzzles themselves were pretty standard, but they were integrated well into the room and story. More physical than I expected, but nothing crazy (I would not consider myself to be in shape and was able to do them). We also really liked that the game is 75mins instead of the standard 60.

Gameplay

Puzzles were pretty standard, but they were integrated very well. Multiple tasks/puzzles can be completed consecutively.

Atmosphere

I love Tron Legacy, so this was a lot of fun. My teammate had never seen Tron but still really enjoyed the atmosphere and story.

Customer service

Jon was a great game master. He was good at determining when to step in to give us hints and adjusting how cryptic or straightforward the hints were based on how much we were struggling. Also was great with answering our post-game questions.

Story

Puzzles were very well integrated into the plot

Difficulty

Game tech

Good mix of both

Ideal number of players

3

We were able to complete the game with just 2 players, so it’s definitely doable with just 2. But having an additional player or 2 might have been helpful. Anything above 5 would probably feel a little cramped.

There’s some climbing and crouching/crawling involved, but that can all be done by just 1 person on the team. The person who climbs and crouches should also be comfortable with smaller spaces. It’s helpful to have at least one person on the team with at least some degree of hand-eye coordination.

Accessibility

At least one person on the team has to be able to climb a ladder and crouch/crawl. You need to go up a flight of stairs to get to the room itself. Lighting is a little dim in some areas. Probably would not recommend to highly photosensitive people.

Super strong start, with a slightly weaker end. The intro to the room was super immersive and the beginning was great, I loved all the arcade games! Def a unique take on the concept 🙂‍↕️ that said, the last room was majority mini-game/task puzzles that I’ve seen in many other places. I felt like the room could have used a few more difficult puzzles in general That said, GM was super, super sweet and very prompt with chiming in when we were going in the wrong direction for too long. I forgot his name but he had glasses and stubble :))

Gameplay

Great set and fun ideas!! Wish there were more unique/difficult puzzles though

Atmosphere

All the rooms had a strong detailed aesthetic ❤️

Customer service

60 escape rooms

I liked this room - a lot of effort went into creating an authentic Tron-themed experience. I don't know much about Tron, so most of the details escaped me, but the room was impressive, nonetheless. A few of the puzzles had me scratching my head and asking, how did they do that?... This was my 55th room (49W - 6L) that I played with four other adults with similar statistics. We would say it is a medium difficulty room (perhaps on the upper edge of medium). All of the props and puzzles were in very good condition, the GM was friendly and helpful (and respected our request for no hints unless we asked for them - I think we asked for one or two?), and the location / parking was easy.

Gameplay

This was a fun game! The theme was novel (for me), the puzzles were fun and the story flowed well (at least I think so, I don't know the Tron story).

Atmosphere

The rooms were decorated very well, the special effects were great and the experience was immersive.

Customer service

Our GM (sorry, I forgot his name) was very friendly, welcoming, and respected our request for no hints unless we asked for them (I think we asked for one or two).

Particularly interesting or different

Yes

This was my first Tron-themed room. The group who played before us wore Tron-y shirts which was cute!

Story

TBH, I don't listen to the story often, but the other members of my group do and they liked the story. I think I need to rent the movies...

Difficulty

Medium

This was my 55th room (49W - 6L) that I played as a group of five adults with similar statistics. I appreciate the 75 minute timer, because, ya know... who likes to fail, right?

Game tech

High tech

It was a mixture of both, but perhaps a little more tech? I say that mostly because of the video game theme.

Ideal number of players

4

I think you need a minimum of two players due to the nature of a few of the puzzles. We played with five adults and it was perfect for us, four would be fine, you can also do more.

Scary

Not scary

We won't play scary games.

Minimum age

10

I say ten years old only because of the typical ten-year-old attention span. But if you have a younger enthusiast, by all means, include them! There is nothing scary or inappropriate.

Was anything broken?

No

Everything worked well.

Live actors

No

We won't play rooms with live actors.

Physically active

Somewhat

There is the usual scurrying around plus one climbing portion for one player.

Accessibility

I think impairments would make this game very difficult.

Easy to find location

Yes

Parking

Easy

They have a dedicated parking lot.
