However, the police could not explain what had happened and the case was dropped; an exorcist was also involved in the investigation, but it is not clear why, the whole case was dropped. The absence of all the girls from the orphanage aroused the suspicions of the headmaster, who asked the police for help. From the police intervention report, we can read that “no one was found in the orphanage, the residents’ personal belongings are left at their usual spots, and there is no indication that anyone has left.
