This was a family-friendly, fun escape room. The theming is about “slime” and it had some easy science-y related aspects to it as well. What I enjoyed most about this escape room was its storyline and set design. The storyline was unique and thorough, and the set design was great! From the props and interactive pieces, we were so impressed that we tried not to get distracted haha. I would recommend this room for 2-3 players due to the space and to allow all players to interact with each other. This room isn’t puzzle heavy in my opinion, but you do have to look at the finer details. Overall, it was a fun room! Each player was able to engage, work together, and marvel at the props and set design. It wasn’t necessarily one of my favorites, but definitely one that you can enjoy with others.

This was my first time doing a 1st gen room and it was for sure humbling. The game master was amazing, but my group definitely made a fool of ourselves, as we are just now getting into escape rooms. The designs in the room were rather lackluster from expectations, however the plot and theme were enjoyable. Sadly it was still difficult to get immersed in the puzzles and room when the attention to detail wasnt there. Solid 7/10 though.

I really enjoyed this room and all the focus on details! Played this room with a group of 6 and it was definitely a bit tricky at the beginning because of some puzzles we hadn’t done before. Nonetheless, storyline made sense and we had lots of fun. Difficulty would probably be 6.5/10.

The new reskinned room they just opened called Trapped in Slime! was a big disappointment. It needs more work. Did the room with three players. The puzzles weren't fun and didn't seem to make sense even when you found the clues. There are a few that make unsupported leaps and are not well designed. One of the puzzles accidentally opened early and was broken, another barely worked. Only one we enjoyed was the CD player. Wasted our time on broken already solved puzzles. How is this "brand new" and already beat up? The slime theme was very loosely tied into the room. Basically just aesthetics. Very haphazardly incorporated. Our game-master was not well versed in the room and not very responsive. They had to trade them out half way through. The intro video was clearly made with AI and was trash. It had nonsense words and spelling mistakes still in it and seemed like a cheap rushed thing they made. Really hope this isn't the future because it brought the production quality way down. This has to rank as one of my absolute bottom experiences. Did not have a fun time. Do not recommend.

Gameplay

Just a lot of poorly thought through puzzles that led to locks. Very low tech. Very arbitrary solutions that didn't make sense. Most advanced thing was a CD player. Boring.

Atmosphere

Seemed cheap and thrown together. Very budget and many things were broken or beat up.

Customer service

Game Master was nearly useless, they clearly didn't know the room or how to run things.

I had an amazing time playing this game. It brought back memories of my childhood, and I kind of miss playing with slime to be honest. There were two puzzles in this game that I hadn’t seen before that I thought were so unique and clever, they are now up in the top of my favorite puzzles in the room. I think partly because of their unique cleverness, but also partly because of the nostalgia. It is a fairly gen one style game with locks so be aware before booking that it has an old school feel. Also some of the puzzles and props are repurposed from a former game that was at this location so if you played that game just know going in that you may see some things you’ve seen before. (I didn’t play the previous game so I can’t tell you what’s new and what’s not.)

Incredible customer service as always

Ideal number of players

We played with three very experienced players, I think with kids or new players you could play with a much larger group.
