The Asylum

This room was the definition of disappointment. The entire room consisted of interacting with a computer keyboard and looking at posters locked in display cases. Theming was minimal at best, and there was no immersion. The puzzles were not satisfying to solve and several did not make sense. Multiple puzzles relied on anagrams of difficult words with no other clues to progress. At one point, the room makes you redo puzzles you’ve already completed. The game master provided worthless hints when requested (often telling us information we already knew), and you are limited to only 5 hints for the entire game. At the conclusion of the time, we were all relieved to be done with this experience. The game master asked us if we had questions with the puzzles, and when we took her up on her offer, she wasn’t able to explain any of them. For a room full of experienced enthusiasts, we were extremely disappointed with our time at Escape Room BCS. This is not what escape rooms should be like. Please do better.
