In Expedition Bigfoot: Shadows of the Forbidden Forest, you and your team of 4–8 intrepid cryptozoologists become the next chapter in Dr. Eric Chacon's doomed quest. Months ago, the renowned Bigfoot hunter followed a surge of fresh sightings deep into these fog-choked woods—only for his last transmission to cut off mid-sentence. Now, at his abandoned campsite, the forest has reclaimed everything… except the clues he left behind. Every puzzle pulses with immersive detail: the damp pine scent, distant wood knocks, the musky whiff of something watching. You have 60 heart-pounding minutes to recover Dr. Chacon's evidence, prove the impossible, and escape before the shadows decide you're part of the legend.

This was such an amazing escape room! They were all so nice. The ambience was epic too, and the puzzles were great! There is a bit of a low roof in one area and some vision difficulty due to low lighting, but it was overall terrific!

I had a great time in this room! Went with coworkers and had a blast. I thought the puzzles were fun and while there were some points where we hit some of those blockages where you're basically doing the right thing but need to be doing it in a slightly different manner (e.g. misreading a letter due to font) the GM was quick to set us on the right path without stepping in unnecessarily. They had a good mix of standard locks and tech locks, and it was fairly immersive. Some AI art which is a downside for me but it didn't take away from the experience. I didn't find it very scary but more fear-mindful people may want to proceed with caution there were a few elements designed to scare (usually I am too locked in on the puzzles to pay much mind to fear elements). I really liked the decor/ambience of the rooms and it definitely felt immersive. I would 100% recommend completing this room if you're in the area! Also had lots of beavers merch integrated into the room decorations which was fun to see as a recent grad lol
Room flowed well with a fun narrative!
Often I am not a huge fan of rooms with more atmosphere cuz I find they sometimes trade off in puzzle quality but I didn't feel this was the case here!

10 escape rooms
This was an extremely immersive room and was very enjoyable. The room was very fun and well designed. My group of 4 was able to finish it in under 50 minutes, we struggled a lot with visibility, but had lots of fun. Accessibility is not great as the room limits vision with low lights and limits hearing by having background noise. Staff did also ask that we turn in phones to them, they did not have a lockbox as of June 2026.
It is a linear room, the flow is very nice.
Extremely immersive, there is fog and it starts off very dark. Lighting gets better as you continue through the room.
Staff were very welcoming. And GM was able to help where needed. Staff did ask that we hand over any devices, they did not have any lockers or lockboxes.

Little to no accessibility. The room is small and the walkways are also very narrow. The roof is low. The level of light is low and it's very hard to see inside. There is also lots of background noise which makes it hard to hear each other. In order to check in you need to climb 2 flights of stairs.

Our Expedition Bigfoot room was intentionally designed to create a dark, mysterious forest environment, including fog, lighting effects, and immersive sound, but we understand that those elements can make visibility and communication more challenging for some guests. We’re always looking for ways to improve the guest experience while keeping the atmosphere intact, and your comments are helpful. Thank you as well for mentioning the phone check-in process. We have guests store phones during the experience to help protect the immersion and keep the game fair, and we’re continuing to look at ways to make that process even smoother. This has worked so far as we've only had the one room running but we have purchased lockable storage for groups when we open our next room in about 6 weeks. We’re glad your Game Master was able to help when needed and that your team had a great time solving the room together.
