Kidnapped!

The premise of this room was really fun, but that was it. The puzzles were mostly fine, but a few were not working and the game master had to come pry open a box because the key would not work. Most of the puzzles were not very fitting with the room and were lackluster compared to the initial room. Our least favorite part was that they would give us hints when we would not ask for any. We would be looking for something and they would give us an uninvited hint. Also, when we did ask for a hint, there were a few times it took multiple minutes before we received one.

Story is excellent. Love the intro and entry into escape room with the lockup and blindfold. Placed in a warm/hot box to start. While I'm fully into being immersed in a game and such.... We both asked for a hint by the rules following instructions and a larger than normal time elapsed. While this made us both feel actually kidnapped in that moment it was pretty upsetting for game play. I also do realize that hints and giving it away are two different things too. We finally escaped that and the next few things to solve were fun. Not too impressed with the area outside but it was fine. The 3rd room was pretty interesting with a couple interesting puzzles.

This room starts with a bang for sure. Took us a while to make sense of the clues to get out of there and we needed a hint finally. Not a fan of five minutes being added to our time for the clue. Other rooms made more sense but you really have to touch everything and search some.

A few logic jumps, but a decent kidnap themed room.

This will always be one of my favorites. I love the ratio of puzzle to locks and the concept. Lots of team work and fun/creative ideas. The owners are the best and we always have fun here. Not much in the way of tech, but just a good plot and fun puzzles.
