Jungle Quest

If you’ve played Amazon Rainforest at International Room Escape, this is simply a flawed port of that game.

We escaped with added time, thankfully we got a little extra time. This room was amazing! It was full of different obstacles that had your mind running the whole time.

It had some really good points but a few things that detracted from the experience. It was a pretty extensive multi-room game, and had some fun and unique puzzles. The major issues were that you had to spend a lot of time searching for things that didn’t really add to the fun of the game but just took up too much time. In one of the rooms there are small doors. Once you solve the puzzles, you can hear the door open but then have to spend several minutes trying to find the door you just opened. We also asked not to be given unsolicited clues but our game master repeatedly gave us major clues in spite of us saying every time that we didn’t want them.

Solid room! It flows well and keeps you thinking till the very end. My opinion, it’s my favorite room out of the rest. There’s a slight confusion problem with one of the puzzles that did cost us a lot of time but I imagine it’ll be fixed. It sounded like they were already working it out. Overall great experience, super fun, awesome puzzles, and surprisingly only 1 lock, which is great for those of us who despise rooms that contain mostly locks. Right? The set design was impressive, and I mean impressive. I loved the little details they included. The Game Master was attentive as always, which made it even more fun for us. I think I’d give it a solid 8.5/10 Try it out, you won’t regret it!

Wish I would have waited on this room because I assume Puzzle Effect bought this room from another escape room company that had recently closed and I had already played that room.
