57 escape rooms
An excellent, truly challenging, well designed escape room! I should mention that the game is very similar to the Da Vinci Challenge room at Quest Room's US locations (Dallas, Los Angeles). Probably the same core designers...BUT, I was excited to note that the puzzles are still (mostly) unique; new challenges! This is, as of today, their most difficult room. Suited for experienced or adept players. The puzzles are a blend of logic and observation. The lack of obvious "this is what you do next" and some non-linearity up the challenge. Furthermore, you start divided into 2 teams in separate spaces but able to communicate with each other. The props were very well designed, immersion was solid, and there were several surprises with "aha!" moments. Lighting was on the dimmer side but did not require a flashlight; it added to the mood. You are given 2 official clues but, depending on the GM, you may get nudges here and there. There is a system in place to ward you against chasing red herrings or prematurely attempting a "locked" puzzles. This is an expert level game. Although we were able to do it as a team of 2, a team of 4-6 would be much better for this game (4 experienced or 6 mixed).
Gameplay
A mix of split into spaces, non-linearity, keen observation, and the theme keep you engage and immersed. The flow can be a challenge in itself to figure out what needs to be done next or what-goes-where. But it does not detract from the game, fortunately. It adds to the excitement.
Atmosphere
Excellent set design, impressive props, lighting and music made it immersive.
Customer service
Diljeet was excellent! Followed our game closely, helpful nudges.
