As always at Escape on Purpose, the immersion and scenery in this room is great. At times we found it a little bit confusing what we were supposed to be working on or how to accomplish certain tasks. It also didn’t feel like the clues needed much brain power or made you think. I prefer a room that makes you think more. They were very willing to accommodate and turn the music down or let you turn on the overhead lights if you needed more lighting. You won’t find locks in this room and we enjoyed the next gen tech but also felt like the tech was a little bit hard to navigate. For example, it wasn’t always clear when something had unlocked. Overall, we thought the room was ok but it wasn’t a favorite. One thing I love about this company is that they give back a portion of their proceeds to charity.
Gameplay
The flow was confusing. I like the concept of the red, yellow and green lights to guide you towards tasks but it was often confusing what to do at the next task.

Our GM was very welcoming. She was good but the intro rules for playing the room felt like they took a really long time and made out enthusiasm go down a bit. This might be because the room is new.

One of the pieces of tech did not respond despite us putting in the correct code numerous times. Two other pieces of tech didn’t fully disengage but we were able to manually adjust them.

It is not very physically active and does not require bending but there are two elevated areas so you will need to be able to step up.
Accessibility
Most of the room is not wheelchair accessible. There were not any hearing based clues. Color blindness could be a challenge. They allowed us the ability to turn on the overhead lights if we needed more lighting.
