Breathless

Another great room. We love this company and the owner is fantastic. I would argue they have the best games in CT in terms of storyline, immersion and challenge. Breathless was an easier room and first in the storyline, but the puzzles really flow and have some unique puzzles/thrills we haven’t had before. Must do rooms if you’re in CT.

Owner was so sweet! The room itself was well designed and thoughtful. Cool elements I haven’t seen often were used which is always a delight 💜

My group and I had a great time with Breathless. The mechanics were engaging and the story was very good. We did Invasion first, which was a better room, so Breathless felt a bit anticlimactic by comparison. The door mechanic was cool but I wish it felt just a bit more punishing. I like the idea of using your remaining time as a resource, but we were able to game it very easily. The room is not terribly difficult, but the puzzles are great and don’t require any unnatural leaps in logic. The dramatic tension and theming in Invasion is more to my preference, but both are very well-designed experiences that are sure to leave you satisfied. Thank you Dave for the great experience! We’re looking forward to the next room!

Absolutely wonderful time! We booked last minute on a whim and drove about an hour and a half to come visit and am so glad we did. We had David (owner and game designer) as our GM and he was wonderful and you could tell he truly cares about the game. The room was fun with some cool tech and interesting props that made it fun to play. Overall a very good game for both beginners and experts alike

What a great game! Puzzles were unique and interesting, and they wove the story in seamlessly in a way that not a lot of escape rooms do. Highly recommend!

7.4/10 We really enjoyed our time with Breathless and are excited to see where the story takes us with Mind Factory’s future rooms. The environment and props do a great job of immersing you in this abandoned science lab. We loved how the story was attached into the puzzles. Each one seemed to push the narrative forward, making us feel more engaged with the plot rather than just completing random challenges. This game was ideal for a mid size group because of how well the tasks were distributed. The ending was a bit underwhelming, and we wish it had a bit more of a “wow” factor to it. We have not played their second room, Invasion, as of writing this, but after playing Breathless, we can’t wait to come back to try it out.

We were in town on a Tuesday - a day when Mind Factory wasn't usually open, but saw a note on the website encouraged us to email about the possibility of them opening for us. Dave, the owner, emailed back immediately and said he'd be happy to open just for us. When we arrived he was the perfect host - we couldn't have hoped for a better experience. Breathless was a great room - Pt.1 of a 2 part (so far) story. There were a good variety of different types of puzzles and one element of the room was extremely unique - I've never seen it in any other escape room. Great room & great host!
