One of my favorite rooms ever. There were lots of physical and hand-eye-coordination puzzles. The set quality was incredible. The technology was top notch. And the story was both cohesive and creative. I will be recommending this to everyone. It also scales extremely well to your group size, we had three players but six still would have been fun as well.

8/10 From the brilliant minds that brought you Wizard’s Treasure, comes an exceptional elevated experience about Science, Science? And SCIENCE! Prepare your mind, your head, and your brain for one of the best new escape rooms in Hollywood. If Big Brain Labs isn’t on your to do list, put it on asap before this room gains popularity and becomes booked out like crazy! Puzzle lovers listen up. Throw on your lab coats because Big Brain Labs is one of the most fun experiences you can book in Southern California. This room is beautiful. Hand crafted with every detail in mind, with a hilarious little story, and packed to the brim with puzzles. From brain teasers to testing your reflexes, every puzzle is so original and satisfying you’ll think to yourself, “why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?” Not just once, but many times throughout. Big Brain Labs perfects the balance of difficulty, fun, and making you think in different ways from puzzle to puzzle, always keeping things fresh. The tech is silky smooth. I mean like butter. The tactile response utilizing mechanics that feel great in your hands gives you a gratification like no other. Every action is met with such a rewarding feeling I truly didn’t want the game to stop. This is an 80 minute experience that flies by, not from pressure, but from pure joy. My team of two completed this room with 10 minutes left to spare (and that’s with me standing around guffawing at the astounding use of led color mapping), so enthusiasts, keep this in mind when booking 3 or more players. Experienced players will fly through but there is a lot to do and you won’t want to miss out on any part of this room. End of review. ————————————————————- Now I must stand upon my soapbox to gripe about an issue no one asked to hear, regarding a topic that won’t in anyway affect their game experience. Some creators, I wish, would unburden themselves from answering to corporate company needs and open their own experiences under their own name. Yes, easier said than done, for I understand having a large brand attached to their room alleviates certain pressures but confines them into guidelines that hinders their potential for truly exploring immense experiences. I just know Big Brain Labs could excel with an extended time limit. But extended time limit means less bookings. Less booking means more expensive tickets to compensate for lack of traffic, so on and blah blah, you get the point. I just don’t want to see immense creative potential squandered by a large business entity. Who am I but an enthusiastic consumer that rarely plays rooms these days, anyway? I digress. Morty is going to put a text limit on reviews because of my conceited ramblings. tl/dr It’s a damn good game. Go play.

I’ve got 2 words to describe to this game… EPIC and IMMERSIVE. This room is truly a one of a kind. Grant and his team went above and beyond to deliver an amazing game. The theming, design, gameplay, atmosphere were all on point. I’ve played many games and I seriously have not come across something like this before so hats off to you guys! This isn’t a game about speed or setting a new record, but rather being able to immerse yourself in the room, take your time, and truly get every single part of the room completed. Some of my favorite puzzles I’ve done. Amazing job and can’t reccomend this room enough!!!

The set is NEXT LEVEL. Great for all ages and all skill levels. Enthusiasts should know before going in that this isn’t a game to try to break the record — it feels more like the Ladder in terms of pacing. Super fun, gorgeous design, enjoy it!!! Went with a group of 3. Enthusiasts could probably enjoy this with 2.

This game was so fun and felt so NEW! It is a fun challenge and scales to your group size and ability level. The world felt on the scale and depth as Disneyland. The writing and humor was genuinely funny and I felt engaged and curious about the story the whole time. Only con, I doubt my career aspirations as a scientist.
Everything felt unique and required different skill sets. Everyone in my group had a time to shine!
Literally felt like Disneyland! Each room felt like a different world
The GM and game designer answered all of our questions and felt so genuinely passionate about his work!

Good amount of walking but all the doors seemed to be ADA accessible!
All the doors seemed ADA with everything being in reach. The designer also said they were adding accesible options including captions, color blind options, volume control, and strobing light control. We already had color blind options and everything else they said will be added soon but I would call and check
