Was a decently large room in a mall "galleria". Atmosphere/gimmick was forgettable, but good number of independent puzzles that didn't bottleneck too badly for our large group. Most people really enjoyed themselves and diverse opinions on how to solve things saved the day.

Chaos in the Galleria is a loving and nuanced satire of the heist themed escape rooms. Whereas the typical heist room begins in a fine art gallery, Chaos begins in a 80s/90s galleria mall. While most heist rooms want you to steal the most valuable ________ from a highly secure vault, Chaos asks you to steal the “fifth most valuable diamond” from a vending machine. From there, the story sends you to explore conventional mall stores (books, fashion) while giving you puzzles that are varied, layered, and complex. There are additional moments of hilarity (one task toward then end had our entire team laughing) as well as fun aha moments before resolving in a way typical for the genre. We played with a team of 7 which the game handled well, finishing with about 20 minutes left on the timer (though this was due to having a few puzzlers who expertly and quickly moved through the game).

Ever want to break into the mall and explore all its secrets? This is it! So many puzzles and so many things to do. Fantastic company and fantastic game. Would recommend for 6 people!

LOVED this room - great for big groups and very hands-on. Even as seasoned players, we barely escaped with enough time meaning the puzzles are appropriately complex and compelling. The story line was fantastic and the rooms were all very immersive. There are multiple puzzles that can be solved concurrently. Played with 4 adults and 4 young-ish kids-- everyone had to be hands on to escape successfully. We even got a commemorative photo at the end!
Rooms flowed together well with a combination of multiple puzzles happening at the same time. The set-up was novel and had a great combination of sensor-based puzzles, finding objects, observations, etc. This room requires a rapid and steady pace of puzzle solving to complete.
Decor was storyline were immersive to be both period/era appropriate (for those of us old enough to remember) and a really great blast-from-the-past type of feel as well.

We played with 4 adults, 2 5th graders, and 2 2nd graders. Everyone have plenty to do, the puzzles were engaging and had a great combination of observational, physical, and problem solving. The younger kids were great in this one!

Such a fun room that would definitely be a highly recommend from me, much like the other rooms in Omescape’s Sunnyvale location. Love the storyline of going on a heist and breaking in. When they say chaos in the galleria, they meant it! It could feel that way at times. There were a number of nonlinear puzzles that it would be advised to have a big group where everyone divided and conquered. We managed to escape in 71 minutes. We did not have any technical issues when we did the room. Our game master was also so accommodating. The storyline is great, there are plenty of puzzles to go around - you are sure to have a good time!

First of all, take that 6 person minimum seriously. This game is that big in puzzle content. (You could probably get away with less enthusiasts but it would be exhausting.) Second of all, this is really cool. On paper it’s a pretty normal escape oroom but there’s just something about it’s execution that makes it feel different. Very notably this game does a good job covering multiple themes at the same time. It packs a LOT into it’s space. If you have the team (probably like 6-8) play it. Easily my second favorite (behind Robotopia) at Omescape Sunnyvale (sorry Undercooked).

Who doesn't love a good heist! We had an hour to pull it all off and good news . . . mission accomplished. We needed help with some of the puzzles but we overall this was a great escape room experience! Check it out.

a top 3 room for me for sure. lots of parallelizing (multiple rooms inside open at once plus they had varying themes which was awesome), cool puzzles, cool set, fun props. I always have a hard time knowing what to say about rooms I loved, so I’ll just say: do this room, you won’t regret it!!
