You stand at the threshold of The Lost Temple, where the sands of the pharaohs meet the jungles of the serpent. In the year 1927, famed explorer E.G. Kincaid ventured into this mysterious land in search of untold treasures. Deep within, he discovered a temple unlike any other — a place where the symbols and secrets of Egyptian, Mayan, and Aztec civilizations seemed to merge into one impossible monument. Driven by curiosity, Kincaid entered the temple... but the great stone doors sealed shut behind him. Trapped inside, he used his journal, wit, and knowledge of ancient cultures to navigate its puzzles and traps. His final notes hinted that he was on the verge of unlocking its ultimate secret — before he vanished, becoming lost to the sands of time. Now, nearly a century later, you and your team of explorers have stumbled upon the same temple. As you step inside, the door slams closed once more. Kincaid’s journal lies waiting, filled with half-finished sketches and cryptic clues. You have 60 minutes to continue his quest — to find the lost artifacts, uncover the temple’s hidden treasure, and escape before the curse claims you too. Fail, and you may join the legend of the lost explorer forever.

I'll keep this short and sweet. As of Winter 2025, this is the best escape room venue in Lancaster County and it's not even close. This is worth the drive from anywhere in Lancaster over the other venues and great for first timers and escape room veterans. 8.25/10

Full transparency: This review is based on a complimentary beta test. The game was nearly complete when my group played. This is a phenomenal game for the Lancaster market! It easily has the best scenic in the area. The puzzles were intuitive and flowed smoothly. Lots of immersive tactile elements. Everything felt well-built. This is the first room I would recommend to someone in this area, whether they are experienced with escape rooms or not. I hope other local escape rooms see how Enigma is raising the bar for our market. I am so excited to see what else comes out of Enigma Escape in the future!
