Clearly well-used room that made puzzles easier due to wear and tear. Was our first room and while we didnt escape the first time, looking back, it was fairly easy

This room was not fun. We hated the puzzles. So many aspects did not work. You need outside knowledge for this, which was annoying.

My favorite room at this location. They are in the Legends Mall, and have two separate buildings there, so check where you're going and don't be late! This theme is fun, you start in a comic book store and move on from there in a very story driven way. Key and Code doesn't usually do well with story and this one actually did good. The puzzles are pretty straight forward and flow well.

The game was pretty cool. You have to use to other rooms in other for you to get to the next areas.

There were a couple of innovative puzzles, but overall the room was just okay. The set was not super immersive (again, not horrible, but pretty meh). The reception person was not very welcoming when we arrived and the GM was too specific on a clue. We only asked for a clue on one puzzle and instead of offering a subtle hint, he proceeded to give us a step by step procedure on what to do……despite us trying to stop him. We said, “got it” and “thank you” several times and he kept blabbing on. It didn’t feel like the room had an ending. It was one of those rooms where you say to yourself, “oh, I guess we’re done”. It is not bad enough to thins down, but it doesn’t necessarily deserve a thumbs up. It really deserves a meh.
Atmosphere
It was okay. Not great, but not horrible.

Small space and fairly linear so you wouldn’t want too many people or most would be standing around.

Was anything broken?
Not sure. There was a spider web on the wall with some screws in a different color and spiders in a clear pattern, but we didn’t use this for any puzzles. 🤷♂️

The epitome of Meh. The room had red herrings, and really really bland puzzles at times, I mean, there was a crossword and basic logic puzzle, come on. But then by the second half of the room, the puzzles got a little better, still very little signage or guidance though, lots of guessing what to do. AND lots of things visible right away that couldn’t be used until way later. It wasn’t awful enough to be a thumbs down, but it walks that line.
