Check your membership cards! Eccentric businessman and Harvest Moon Video store owner, Joseph Boddy , is set to retire. He has decided to randomly select several membership cards from his Video Store database and has issued special “golden tickets” to a lucky few. A local newspaper, The Sleepy Hollow Patch, is reporting that Mr. Boddy has laid out a series of challenges throughout his beloved video store for the chosen few, and if successful, the team will be rewarded THE DEED to the store. Mr. Boddy feels it is time for a change in ownership, one that can bring a fresh new upgrade to Harvest Moon Video as a new generation takes the helm of the film world. HMV has always been a prominent fixture on Main Street in the quiet village of Sleepy Hollow, New York. This quaint store continues to be the hot spot in town on a Friday night, as locals fill the aisles look for movies to rent. YOUR membership card has been drawn, and you and your team are anxiously waiting outside the store for further instructions. As you feel the crisp, cool air and take in the smells of the fall season, you listen to the passing cars, wondering when Joseph Boddy will arrive. At exactly 10:31 pm, a video beings to play inside the store. Your instructions are simple. You must gain entrance to the store and complete the tasks within an hour. If you are successful, you will be granted the deed to Harvest Moon Video. However, if you cannot complete his game in time, your car will be towed, and the next team of lucky golden ticket winners will get their change at this one-in=a=lifetime opportunity.

Let me start by saying that Mandy was an absolutely amazing GM. She is so kind and so fun. She was attentive and very willing to help in any way she could. The theme of this room is very original and nostalgic! I loved that it felt like Blockbuster and that you start on the outside of the “store.” We had a little bit of a hard time finding our groove in the room. I did feel as though certain puzzles didn’t flow into each other very cleanly. It was fun though and I’m glad we went slightly out of our way to do it!

Fun game! We were honestly between a like and love but Mandy was incredible and the story and set were unique enough to push it to a love. The game flow for us was choppy…it felt like there were too many items that you collect throughout the game at the same time but have to wait to use them until you have all the pieces. And signposting in a few cases was lacking that we feel like would have eliminated some frustrating distractions and time sucks. All that being said it was still really fun and the story and set were really cool and unique! Would recommend to anyone, especially anyone with blockbuster memories as it feasts on those!

So many good things about this one. First of all, GM Mandy was AWESOME. So friendly and fun. All GM’s should be like her! The room itself was amazing. It was definitely like being in a small town video store. Do this room!

Just a fun room! Great use of puzzles in a larger room layout. With a variety puzzles some second gen some first. We've done similar themes but I feel this room really shined keeping us on our toes and immersed the whole game. We did 3 rooms here so far and it's tied with the ice cream shop highly recommend.

Was probably my favorite room of all time!! Amazing theme, great puzzles, and kept me and my team entertained every minute! If you love movies you will love this room! Jordan was out game master and made the whole experience even more amazing with her personality and spirit!

Super fun room. Literally feels like you’re inside of an old blockbuster! My one complaint is that it felt so fast paced. Once we got the hang of it, we had so much left to do that we were running around practically the entire time. However, it was their hardest room (though not to our knowledge) and was doable, we just had to hunker down and perform in the last 15 minutes.
