While it’s nothing exceptional in any respect, this game is great fun, with very solid puzzles of a wide variety of means. The story is a bit of a non-sequitur and doesn’t fit the room very well, but it’s a solid experience overall.
A very fun mix of interesting puzzles done in novel ways.
While the set design was nice, it felt fairly all over the place.
While there was no lack of kindness, we felt significantly rushed.
No
The story wasn’t integrated particularly well, the plot was very generic, and the space and its puzzles weren’t reflective of the theme.

A fairly decent room in which you stop a mad scientist. It’s a weird name for the room since it has nothing to do with superheroes. You’re considered “the hero” if you can save the world by stopping this madman. You do so by solving nonlinear puzzles. I think this room out of all the ones at this location actually pulls off nonlinear well. That said, it isn’t usually clear what inputs go to which outputs. There is one truly infuriating 3D spatial reasoning puzzle. Also, there’s a large crawl space and light drop that one may need to go in and out of. It’s a little spooky because of the eerie atmosphere and dankness, but it’s not a scary room. Some good ideas here, and it felt good to solve some of the logic puzzles. However, it’s not my favorite (or least favorite) of Breakout Waikiki.

Good game. Some fun parts. Mostly logical. One door didn’t open as we expected which cost us about 20 minutes trying to figure out puzzles with incomplete information. Overall it was quality with some fun puzzles.
