Absolutely lovely full day experience exploring the village with puzzles and engaging actor interactions. We loved the sheer amount of puzzles and the “pick your own adventure” style to the day. There are about 20 “missions” to do, each involving multiple steps/puzzles/searches to complete. Our duo was only able to do 13 even though we never really stopped, so either be okay with not finishing everything or bring a larger group to split up (note: you only need to complete 7/20 to begin the end game tasks so they dont expect anyone to complete it all all in one day) Compared to their other experiences here and at Casa Loma, this is more “explore” and “engage with the actors” than just pure puzzles. You really do have to get to know the characters and plot to finish. That might resonate with some over others. Actors were fantastic as always. One downside is the sheer amount of paper that gets given to you throughout. It becomes overwhelming. You also need to be working on multiple story threads at once or else you’ll be backtracking constantly (which you will have to do anyways but more than you might want to). For example we got one paper/clue at the very beginning of the day and then didn’t even glance at it until the very end due to it getting buried under other things. There was also enough stuff to keep family/kids involved. There were lots of kids there and there were so many activities for them to do related to the story (puzzle and non-puzzle). So that was impressive.
