Coming Soon - In April 1969 ‘The Institute’ sent a civilian research team lead by Dr. Alias R. Marston under the guise of ‘Operation: Black Lantern‘ to investigate a newly exposed limestone fissure system on an undisclosed Island in the Lesser Antilles. A seismic event exposed the fissure and formed an entrance way to a previously inaccessable cave network. The primary fissure opened along a collapsed bluff on the island’s northern coast. Entry required a 40‑foot rappel into a vertical shaft. Air quality was stable; humidity extreme. The walls bore deep gouges inconsistent with natural erosion — possibly man‑made, possibly centuries old. Local folklore suggested the caves were “Cursed by the King” but might connect to the final resting place of the Pirate Ship named ‘Bullseye‘, the Legendary Brigantine of Captain Briggs, the self‑styled “Pirate King.” and guardian of the “Golden Octopus of Kanaloa“ The goal: determine geological significance, map the caverns, and assess the validity of the treasure legends. The five man team did not return.
