Scarlett and Hamilton were incredibly accommodating to our group’s arrival time giving a real great surprise amongst our group as a friend joined us. Wonderful time and really fun and unique puzzles.

The puzzles themselves were great, but be aware the room is not private and they allow up to 8 people to book. The room is small and mostly linear with a lot of puzzles in little corners so if the room books up, half of you will not get to participate. Our 4 person group got crammed in with another 4 person group so there was a lot of standing around for many of us. This room would have been great with 2-4 people. With 8 people it felt like a waste of time and money.

Parking is usually available, but takes a long time to find a spot and you can end up in a line of cars waiting for a spot. Make sure to plan some extra time.

I did this escape room with only one other person (team of 2) and we finished with plenty of time. It was very fun and lots of unique puzzles and aha! Moments. A great room and fun atmosphere

This was a fun room. We had a party of 4 and then a party of 2 joined us. There is some crawling so wear pants for this. It wasn’t a rough surface to crawl through but it was hard on my knees.

Fortune be told, but can you find the gold? This escape room brought you back to the 1800s, and let’s just say that it was quite the trek to find our reward, but well worth it! This room had a lot of a-ha moments and a sense of immersion, however; Gold Rush could work on its implementation of puzzles within its storyline. Some of the puzzles did feel like random tasks that didn’t blend well with what was needed to be done, but it makes up for it in the immersion and transitions. There wasn’t anything too special in Gold Rush that stood out, but the set design, props, and sounds were immersive. I played with 2 other players and luckily no one else booked with us (because the Escape Game is public booking). This room could easily be completed with 2 players, depending on your skill level, and I would say the maximum would be 4 due to the physical space.
Gameplay
Most of the puzzles flowed well with one another, however; due to wear-and-tear, some puzzles were challenging to spot and became tedious and time consuming with what was needed to be done. The puzzles themselves could be implemented better, but it follows a linear pattern and is a great escape room for beginners.
Atmosphere
I really liked Gold Rush for the fact that it was very immersive. The set design was incredible and the special effects and props were on point with the theming of this room.
