151 escape rooms
While this game is my least favorite at Total Escape, I still really enjoyed it! This game was just a little bit less unique than their other games. This room is also quite a bit easier than their other rooms so it would be a great one to start out with!
Gameplay
The gameplay made sense for the circumstances and flowed well from one part to the next. Some sections were more linear than others. Be aware that your party will begin in separate cells so it may not be ideal for small parties who are new to escape rooms. Experienced duos would be completely fine though!
Atmosphere
The atmosphere wasn’t bad, it was just a little bit basic.
Customer service
Particularly interesting or different
No
The game was well done but the theme (as well as the split entrance) is very common in escape rooms.
Story
The story was good but once again pretty basic.
Difficulty
Easy
This is definitely the easiest room at this location. We struggled the most when we were overthinking the puzzles.
Game tech
Mechanical
There were some technical aspects of this room but there were also some manual locks. The other rooms at Total Escape are more high tech than this one.
Ideal number of players
4
Four would be ideal due to the beginning sections.
Scary
Not scary
Minimum age
10
Not scary and this is the most basic room at this location.
Was anything broken?
No
Live actors
No
Physically active
Not at all
Accessibility
It would be difficult to navigate the cells with any mobility restrictions. I don’t know if this room offers any accommodations for that portion of the game. There weren’t any major portions of this game (that I can remember) that utilized color and/or sound.
Easy to find location
Yes
