Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang need your mystery-solving help…or else! The town of Crystal Cove and surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts, and now the local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. But when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Inc. gets locked out, at the same time you get locked in! You soon realize that they’re able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. After discovering a secret dungeon and monster lab in the castle, you come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects??

Very cute room but much less challenging than the reviews made it seem. It’s all straight forward and puzzles are relatively simple. Lots of directions in the room on exactly how to solve each puzzle. The theme was cute though which made this room very fun.
Cute room well themed. Pretty linear design and straight forward problem solving.
The set design was good, but the props were fairly simple and straight forward. I think they went for the cartoon-y feel for many, but it didn’t make it feel very immersive.
We hit traffic and were running late and the staff was very accommodating.

It felt very Scooby Doo, so theme worked. But it wasn’t overly memorable. To be honest I’m not sure I even remember the who dunnit

Not broken exactly, but we were stuck for a minute near the beginning when the first prop didn’t trigger the screen correctly. We got the voice prompt 3 times before the screen changed and we could see the actual clue needed to solve the next puzzle

Parking garage costs money being on the beach, I could easily see issues finding a spot in the garage during high season

The story was enjoyable, especially with the Scooby Doo characters leading you through the puzzles. Production design was good and in keeping with the IP and puzzles themselves were solid. Sound was way too quiet -- it was hard to hear the character voiceovers and hint chimes. Tech was very spotty. Multiple puzzles were triggered and doors opened with incomplete solutions and one didn't trigger at all so the staff had to come in and open it manually. Hint system was also poor, as it pushed hints for things we were actively in the middle of solving (didn't need a hint), but when we got stuck because of an error in a solution, it didn't point us toward the error so we could correct it ourselves, it just gave us the correct answer.

Decent room, but not too much fun. It isn’t childish as it looks.

Very fun and not nearly as kiddy as we thought it would be. Challenging, but not the hardest. Fun interaction with the puzzles and lots of other good laughs in this one!

This is a great room for families and kids, though our group had fun despite not being kids. It’s well paced and a good room especially for beginners, though enjoyable for experienced players as well.
