Witching Hour

We tried to do this room during the Halloween season, but it was closed because the company’s haunted house took precedence. It makes sense, but it’s a shame because this is definitely a creepy, borderline scary, room. There were startling moments, and the entire room is decorated like a haunted house. The puzzles were overall fine, and mostly made sense especially after the fact. There are some annoyances, particularly a lock that was never explained to us how to open it, and clues that are almost impossible for shorter people to see in the dark. You can use your flashlight, at least. I think some assistance from the GM would have been appreciated since we wasted time not knowing why our correct assumptions didn’t work. I also have a feeling 2 of the exact type of lock were incorrectly switched on reset… No matter how decorated the room was and how interesting the themed puzzles were, the service was just not there. The theme was not as “witchy” as I was expecting it to be either.
