Tomb Hunter: La Leyenda De Akasha [Tomb Hunter: Akasha´s Legend]

Great room. The puzzles were pretty easy. If you love the puzzles this might not be the best room, but if you love immersion and thrills, this room is fantastic. All in all though, great room.

I’m surprised the mixed ratings because this is one of the best escape rooms I’ve ever done. Granted, I completed this 4 years ago and we were tourists to Barcelona so we don’t have many to compare to from that area. But compared to my local escape rooms, this was above and beyond what you can experience in the states. I loved the physical aspect and the scale. It truly felt like you were in a tomb with no exit to be found. From the start, there was no lobby and we were sucked into game. We loved that.

We did Cyber City first since it is higher on Terpeca but honestly we loved Akasha in some ways even MORE! The rooms at Escape Barcelona feel like MUST-DO and some of the best we’ve ever played. It’s a real full, fun, well-flow experience adventure and not your typical timed linear escape room.

A good escape room although after having done many Spanish rooms, I remain disappointed with this last one. In fact, I was perhaps expecting a little more after seeing such good reviews! So yes, we have a spectacular, large, unusual play space and some wow effects concerning it, but in terms of the puzzles, we were a little bored... not too much fun and even annoyance for some as the task was easy to understand but boring and time-consuming to execute. We were sometimes afraid of breaking the scenery which at times was hanging by a thread and we even had difficulty understanding the game master with the modified voice. It is above all the playing field which makes it a room to come and see, with each discovery of the new rooms we are amazed, better puzzles would make it an extraordinary room, it's a shame! (Good shoes and clothing that does not fear dust are to be expected!)

I enjoyed the physical aspects of the room. There is a comparable room to this one in the US. I feel this one was done better.

That was a very cool room, large and exciting, yet overall we were left feeling unsatisfied. The GM was not super enthusiastic. One of the mechanisms didn’t really seem to work which hurt the immersion. Still very cool by most standards.

By most standards, this room would rate a “love” - but it is competing against a lot of really great rooms in Barcelona, and it’s showing it’s age a bit. Several of the props are worn/chipped, and we had at least one significant tech fail. It’s worth going if you’re doing a lot of rooms in the city, but if you’re looking for just the cream of the crop, you can skip this one. (Like all Barcelona rooms, expect to crawl, climb, and get sweaty/dirty)

This was a solid room all around, even if it’s showing it’s age a bit. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that can get dirty.
