Completed in English - GM did not speak great English and this caused some difficulty. There were also some things that didn’t work as they should and it took a while to realise/ resolve. Story was good and puzzles that worked were unique and enjoyable.

Took quite a while for GM to realise that something was Broken and resolve this. They kept insisting we hadn’t completed things - but they were actually broken. This was quite frustrating.

I love exploring escape rooms from all of the world and this one is a must! Puzzles were not confusing at all and has used several new ones that I haven’t encountered before. Will try to do more of their escape rooms if I’m ever back in Barcelona!

Linear, there was one moment that we got stuck on but game master was quick to set us back on track.

Definitely a must do if it’s your first time in Barcelona. We really appreciated the details about Gaudi and La Sagrada Familia!

Played solo! A good Gen-1 with plenty of searching and padlocks to open. The room has a connection to Barcelona and it's history but it's not strong or deeply engrained into the story. The space has been nicely decorated but lacks special effects or hidden/unexpected spaces. Puzzles are all logical, if perhaps a bit too simple. There is a heavy focus on searching and a lack of cooperative puzzles.

Good, enjoyed playing on my own. An extra set of eyes to help with the searching would have helped speed things up though.

I enjoyed how the sound of the approaching fires became more dominant over the speakers in an effort to subconsciously apply more pressure on you

The puzzles are too narrow and simple to bring lots of people. However the space is large and there is lots to search for, so less experienced teams may wish to bring more?

While it wasn't the most challenging or high production-value room we've done, it was very enjoyable and nicely themed to the city. Probably could have used a few more puzzles, and a larger group might not have enough to do. Gamemaster Nicholas did a good job setting the story and getting us engaged!

The email confirmation gave instructions, but still a little tricky to find down an alley and beyond a coded gate.
