20 escape rooms
One of our least favorite rooms that we’ve played. Puzzles were a little frustrating, and one of the many button coded puzzles we had to try several times with the same code for it to acknowledge. We ended up using 4 clues because we were frustrated and stuck. Not really that many puzzles in this room, and they were somewhat repetitive (find a code or color pattern to hit buttons in the right order).
Gameplay
Wasn’t that enjoyable, and the group became frustrated.
Atmosphere
Had a Star Wars vibe to it. Overall the decor and atmosphere were well done.

Story
Kidnapped pet? Seemed like they didn’t know what to lock away in a box at the end. That said, our little girl squealed when she saw it and we had to go buy a matching stuffy. LOL
Difficulty
Hard
Rated this one hard, but it is more medium-hard. Some of the puzzles I think were more frustrating than anything, since a few were somewhat vague and not intuitive. Our youngest lost interest, so I’d say this one isn’t really for kids under 10. One puzzle we tried with the correct code several times before it let us move on. We wasted a lot of time entering the code multiple times.
Game tech
Does have sensors but I wouldn’t rate it as “high tech”

Was anything broken?
Yes
No sure if it was broken or just glitchy. There is a puzzle where you have to push buttons on a crate in a specific order. We did this several times in the same order and it wouldn’t let us pass. We were about to give up and gave one more try, using the same order, and it unlocked. I know it has to do with timing, and we tried different pacing, waiting for the puzzle to reset, holding buttons down, etc.
