The Fortune Teller

This is more of an experience than an escape room. The puzzles are so fun and having a live actor in the room brought it to life!

This game was recommended by a few to us, but my wife and I just did not click with this one at all. The puzzles or challenges just didn’t seem to flow or make much sense. The actress did a great job in her role(s). It just didnt feel like a quality focues product compared to the other rooms we did in the area.

We did this room with 2 people (which was the right number, I think). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The live actor (ours was Jack) was fantastic and made all the difference in the room being enjoyable. I do wish the puzzles were more challenging, but the time pressure to complete them was an effective way to add some challenge to them too. I’d highly recommend this experience. Another cool aspect of this room is that your puzzles are selected randomly from a selection and you don’t do all of them, so you could come back and play again and get a slightly different experience potentially. Note: If you don’t care about story and immersive experiences and just want challenging puzzles, then this probably isn’t the experience for you.

Super fun atypical escape room experience. A series of puzzles based on Tarot tropes, guided by an in room host playing a fortune teller character. Loved it. A few aesthetic bumps such as stickers being missing on puzzle pieces but as I understand it the room is being revamped.

A unique interactive game which is more task based than lock and key. Solving puzzles in bouts that are times challenges. This game is more what you and your group make of it by playing along. There are multiple puzzles that seem to be there for when the group size is bigger so when you play the game there may be puzzles you don’t interact with which can feel strange in comparison to a normal escape room. All in all. This is a good fun game to experience.

A really unique experience that that isn’t a traditional “escape”, instead focusing on solving a mystery with one-of-a-kind mechanics that center around a deck of Tarot cards. Solving puzzles awards coins which can be used to buy hints as well as purchase items from an in-game shop, some of which can be used to solve other puzzles in the room. A live actor is in the room with you (Sasuke was great!) to aid in storytelling, offer help, and keep you on track. 10/10 would play again.

More of an experience than an escape game. There is a live actor and you're assigned tasks to complete that earn you favor on the last task. It was interesting and imaginative. We struggled as a group of two. I'd suggest at least 4 people.
