Project 11 Excape

One of the more unique room themes at Excape, I had a great time playing through Project 11. The puzzles were super varied and helped us feel like we were working towards a specific goal. I’ll be honest that this goal went over my head a little bit as we were informed beforehand that there are 3 secret stars to be found throughout and were obviously enamoured by the desire to discover all three. A side quest? In an escape room? Sign me up. A grand finale of watching one of our team members get rained on from above multiple times was definitely worth the effort. Also we found all the stars. Big ups. The space was maybe a little more cluttered and less put together feeling than the other rooms but nothing that felt too troubling. Overall a great experience with some challenging puzzles and a fetch quest for the ages.

After playing their Illuminati room I was really beginning to vibe with the unique theming of the rooms on offer at Excape and Project 11 was no exception. A room created as a tribute to a late family member of the owners really made everything feel so much more personal and charming as the whole thing was packed with quirky props and thematic puzzles. I had a really good time. Excape once again utilise a more structured approach to their puzzle flow with each clue being clearly numbered and worded in a way that made sense with the story we were following. This helped us keep on track the entire time, making it clear whenever we had all the information we needed to proceed. The inclusion of a little side mission scavenger hunt was also greatly appreciated, locating 3 very well hidden stars is a great addition for both bigger groups and insufferable enthusiasts like myself :) Overall a really well rounded and creative room! I only wish they’d make a Project 12.
