A good one room experience, Room 745 is not quite on par with the other rooms at Mayday but is a cool vibe nonetheless. A slew of puzzles had us scrapping for every bit of information we could find and contained some surprisingly tricky solves. The goal of this room is not to escape but to discover the identity of the murderer. Some of the puzzles did feel like story-wise their presence doesn’t really make sense in room and are just there to be puzzled. Not a bad experience by any means but would definitely prefer the other two here.

Out of the pharmacy and into the grisly world of homicide, Room 745 plays around with the classic murder mystery motif in this clever one-room hotel experience. While not as technologically impressive as The Butcher Shop or charming as The Pharmacy, it still carries that Mayday charm as you’re engaged by The Commissioner (staff in full character, hell yeah) and given a robust story with a nice sense of urgency. A very prop/document heavy room, we were swamped with doodads and collectables from the word go, to a point where the hardest part of this room is just finding where to start. Once you get past that little hiccup everything flows nicely with each story beat unfolding in a seamless manner. There’s also 3 copies of Room 745 available to accomodate larger bookings. I had a good time :-)

Super fun single room. You don't actually escape which is different. The puzzles are quite mind boggling at times but really gets the brain thinking. You need to use the clues more than once.

Great room for people who love a lot of thinking! Not as immersive as their other rooms, with a lot more mental solving than looking around the room but still had the puzzles flow really well!

An enjoyable room, but probably my least favourite at Mayday.
