Dr. M is a renowned chemist and strives to have his only son follow in his footsteps, pressuring him into taking studies in chemistry. His son, on the other hand, is only interested in astronomy and although Dr. M passes on all his knowledge, his son can no longer handle the pressure and commits suicide to avoid a life he doesnβt want. Regretful and devastated by the loss of his son, Dr. M attempts to bring him back to life, but even with his extensive scientific knowledge he is unsuccessful. Dr. Mβs grasp on reality becomes distorted compelling him to experiment on living people in the hope of discovering some clue that may help him revive his son. You wake up in a room after a drug-induced coma and unfortunately for you and your friends, Dr. M intends to make you his next experiment. Can you escape the fate of becoming laboratory rats before Dr. M returns?

Some of the props were slightly dated in this room but had a good flow to it. Probably better for teams and players in the earlier part of their escape room history. For experienced players you will have seen the style of most of these puzzles elsewhere - not a critique, they are classic puzzle styles. There is one puzzle that uses augmented reality via tablet which isn't great as it slows everything down, but the rest of that puzzle was pretty good and a nice team engagement
Good but had no idea what a walkthrough was. (might be new to the job though...)

Dr. M was a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect much from the room as I knew it's quite old, but we didn't have much of a choice as we had 7 people and there weren't many escape rooms around that could comfortably hold so many people. While the room does indeed have signs of wear and tear, it's still really fun, with some clever ideas and a mix of different puzzles that range from traditional, dexterity, to hi-tech, plus a few things I had not seen before. To be honest, the narrative is not very well fleshed out and some of the puzzles don't align with the "mad scientist" theme much, yet I still had a lot more fun than I was anticipating. This would have been one of the best rooms around when it was first released given its size and fancy tech. And despite newer rooms offering better theming and more atmosphere/immersion, Dr. M still holds up.

Finished the room with a team of 4 without hints. Was a really great room! A good mix of mechanical and tech, problem solving moments and fun activity moments. I thought the environment and puzzles were well integrated with the theme and story progression, which a lot of other escape room places don't always do well. Immersion was fantastic!
Flowed very well and in tune with the story progression, had some fun activities/challenges. Some moments reminded us of our highschool science days.
The props were good but I reckon it could be improved with higher quality (more realistic) ones.
Staff was great! Didn't have much interaction as we didn't use hints.

Loved the integration of science in the puzzles. Loved some of the mechanical puzzles/activities which I haven't seen before.
Really great story that we learned more about as we progressed. The rooms fit very well within the story.
Hard
Most puzzles were alright difficulty. Some parts were hard and some were time consuming (making a mistake would require a restart).
High tech
Mix of mechanical and tech

4 is the ideal for involvement because it's quite linear, more people means some people may not have things to do. It's a long room though so 5-6 may still be better for sharing ideas and avoiding getting stuck
Spooky
Spooky environment at times but no real jumpscares

I feel like most of the charm of the puzzle is the science which would be more fun if people have some school-level science knowledge

It was okay to find. Couldn't see a sign outside the building so had to enter first to check the directory to make sure I was in the right building. The lift buttons were also"U" and "D" instead of up and down arrow which I found a bit odd but also funny
