Did the dual rooms for a friends birthday, Croz and Tyla made this an awesome experience

The theming in this room is exceptionally well done. Every detail feels intentional, and the props make perfect sense within their spaces. The puzzles are seamlessly woven into the environment, avoiding the common pitfall where challenges feel tacked on simply for the sake of having puzzles. Adding to the experience, we were fortunate enough to have Aaron as our game master β the same host who guided us through The Game back in November 2023. He was sensational then, and nothing has changed. Aaron brings an infectious enthusiasm to his role that truly enhances the overall experience. As with all the game masters we've encountered at Next Level Escape, his passion and energy play a huge part in making their rooms so memorable.

To get to completion I would say it was on the medium side, the extra side quests put it up to the hard bracket

I would say positively that someone wheelchair bound could help complete 2/3 of this room.

We did this in a team of three. A very nicely done room overall. Has been on our "to do" list for a long time, but it's always been booked out. We can certainly see why this has been the case. The positive reviews are correct. A nicely balanced room, with lots of beautifully done puzzles. Themed very well.
Non-linear puzzles meant several things happening at once to keep our team members busy.

The storyline & gameplay flowed nicely.

At one point, we thought perhaps something didn't trigger. The GM picked up on this & worked it into the game well.

One puzzle was difficult for hearing impaired, requiring a listening to speech with lots of background noise. Thankfully, we had members of our team without hearing impairment who could perform this task.

The room was the right level of challenge for a large all-ages group. Perhaps a little too heavy on the vocal narrative elements. Aaron did a great job hosting us. Decor could have been a little more developed - even just a few more books. βTwas fun. Completed core components in 20min. Took the optional parts a bit more leisurely.

A must try for all the puzzle fans out there! I did this room as a 2 people group and there is a lot to do. There are tons of puzzles which are non-linear and you have to solve them in 3 different rooms (corresponding to 3 different movie themes) simultaneously. All the puzzles are very smart and logical, but they may be a bit messy especially with larger groups. They also have bonus puzzles where you can solve after the main quest, this is a plus from my end cuz I like to solve puzzles. They also didnβt feel too unconnected with the main quest. Puzzles suit the movie themes a lot, but unfortunately didnβt have too much connection with the story. The story is not super in depth as the room put more focus on puzzle solving. The set is nothing spectacular and thus the immersiveness. However, I love the GM as our narrator giving us guidance and a hilarious atmosphere! Definitely try out this room if you love puzzle solving, they are very well thought out. But if you are looking for something more story-based immersive experience, this may not be the best room for you.

This was our trioβs first experience at Next Level and it was sensational. Kent was our GM and I would 100% recommend requesting him- he played the role of the narrator masterfully and really matched our groupβs silliness/nerdiness and dynamic. The gameplay was phenomenal and the rooms were STUNNING. A masterpiece from start to finish.

I love this room!!! First of all, I am a book nerd so to see all these different books being referenced in the room was amazing! The puzzles themselves made sense and were very much on theme. Itβs not like this roomβs puzzles does anything particularly different, but the way they are presented and done is so charming, I canβt help but just rave about it. I love the narration as well. I was so happy when I finished. I just love everything about this room; the set, theme, the puzzles, everything! Definitely one of my top rooms Iβve played!

Never had narration before! But it fits the theme so well, like weβre protagonists in a story!

Did it with 19 colleagues over a long lunch break. Had a great time! Split into 2 identical rooms and did them simultaneously, which was great for the competitive among us.

This is a really fun escape room. While the room is an older room, the puzzles were unique, fun, and challenging. I especially liked that the room was mainly non-linear. We completed it as an experienced group of 2, including both optional challenges. Our GM, Stuart, was also incredible. Would definitely recommend while in Sydney!
