Paris Escape

Our first Social Escape, which has cemented our intention to come back and do the highly Morty-fied rooms with our full crew!

We loved the Paris escape room. While it’s quite an easy room (and would be great for new escapers), the puzzles were engaging and a lot of fun. Social Escape Rooms has fantastic puzzle-dense rooms that have heaps to do and Paris Escape is no exception. There’s enough to do that you can divide and conquer or work through the puzzles together. For the puzzle nerds (like us), they give you an awesome data sheet that tracks your performance through the game. The team are friendly, engaged, and fun.

Another fantastic room from the team at Social Escape. Nice flow, interesting puzzles enough to keep us entertained and on track of our goal which was clear throughout the room. All of the rooms at Social Escape have such clear stories with awesome related puzzles.

LOVE Social Escape- this was a fun, linear, well-designed room. We’re an experienced team of three and did this for a birthday on a Friday night. We adore this provider and will be back to complete our final in-person room—very curious about their take-home puzzle.

Great room, very linear but the flow is great and the puzzles make sense. The room is great for beginners and experienced players alike.

‘Paris Escape’ offers a glimpse into Social Escape’s first step towards staking their claim as the puzzle-forward escape room company in the Sydney scene. Each designer approaches puzzle creation differently, and I feel that ‘Paris Escape’ would be a good jumping-off point for newcomers to get into the Social Escape mindset before tackling their more challenging rooms. Replete with a light-hearted theme unique to Social Escape, players navigate through a Parisian hotel apartment to recover their passport ahead of an impending international flight. Fittingly, ‘Paris Escape’ comprises lighter puzzles that are perfect for first-timers or small groups, while experienced escape room fans will appreciate the smooth puzzle flow.

There are so many escape rooms in Sydney that it wasn't easy to choose one. But we couldn't have chosen better! We booked the "Paris Escape" and it was a perfect way to start off our adventure with Social Escape Rooms. Everything in the room made sense, the riddles were diversified. We managed to escape with several minutes still left on the clock and it only made us want more so right away we booked another room with them. What's absolutely exceptional about this Escape Room is that after the game they provide you with some stats (both serious and funny ones). We've done a lot of rooms and have never seen this before. A great way to stand out! Special shout-out to Sky Daddy for creating an incredible, friendly atmosphere!

Our second visit to Social Escape once again did not disappoint. After being greeted by our wonderful Gamesmaster, it wasn’t long before we were off to Paris. This time, we returned with a team of three and a bit more confidence—though we ultimately ran just three minutes over time before completing our experience. I’d describe the difficulty as medium, though our team was just a little off today. According to our data printout, we spent more time on the easier clues while breezing through the harder ones—something we’ve noticed tends to happen when we revisit rooms that lean on the easier side. That said, the theming in this room is fantastic. A high level of detail has been applied to the design, and every prop makes sense within the space, all while maintaining top-tier quality. The puzzles all worked flawlessly, with clear solutions that never felt misleading or confusing. There’s a well-balanced mix of high-tech and low-tech puzzles, with many of the high-tech elements cleverly hidden within the environment. Despite falling just short of the time limit, we had an absolute blast and can’t wait to return for more!
