Very immersive room due to the floor being filled with sand. A few multi sensory puzzles that I hadnβt seen before. Teamwork is very much required. Loved it!

The Lost Tomb is an interesting game with some fun puzzles but didn't really do it for me in terms of story and flow. The room was classic Egyptian themeing with actual sand in room which is a fun addition. The puzzles fit the theme well but could've connected better as we found ourselves unlocking things we couldn't yet solve and getting confused by random things unearthed by UV.

The Lost Tomb, whilst not as strong as some of the other experiences at the Mystery Rooms, still had enough charm and puzzle variation to keep my friends and I engaged the whole way through. With a heavy reliance on more sensory puzzles (music identification, smelling, touch), this does help give the room a more unique feel but can also serve as a hinderance to certain players. The utilisation of sand throughout the entire experience was both a gift and a curse, adding a lot to the set design and immersion but also being coarse and rough and irritating and getting everywhere. Certain puzzles required some leaps in logic which didnβt fit the flow of the room but overall everything was still perfectly on theme with a clever use of the space. A peculiar, well-dressed, sandy experience!

This room was a 1 out of five stars. In my opinion it would not be enjoyable to anyone who is familiar with escape rooms. There's lots of crawling through sand, puzzles that don't work and bad flow. Definetly do not reccomend. I felt bad for the game masters as they were great but the room will leave even a level headed person quite annoyed.

This was a really enjoyable room which flowed really nicely for the most part. We particularly loved the sand to make it a more immersive experience and there were some different puzzles to others rooms we've done. After a little stumble in the first area, we were able to work our way through without difficulty but it was still challenging enough to make us work. We played with 4 players which was a good number for this room as there were lots of clues around and multiple rooms.
