6 escape rooms
I enjoyed the room, but did not enjoy the experience the gamemaster created. My team made it to the final area with 25 minutes left to escape, which the gamemaster afterwards told us was "perfect pacing", but then didn't manage to escape in time. I blame this mainly on the gamemaster, who easily could have keep us on pace with a bit of simple guidance. As a gamemaster myself, I want every team to walk out feeling accomplished, not like a failure, especially if we had "perfect pacing". Afterwards, he told us the room only had a 20% escape rate. I don't know if that is true or just something they tell people to try to make them feel better, but all it did was make me more upset. Now I'm left thinking that the room is way too difficult to actually complete in an hour and I feel a little cheated. I also didn't like the fact that so many of the clues had no indication of what they belonged too, making it difficult to progress when it's unclear if you even have all the materials or information you need. All in all, I though the puzzles and the theme were interesting and unique, but the execution wasn't enjoyable as a player. If I could have rated it on a scale, I would've given it 2.5/5 stars.
