An exclusive Locktopia escape game, based on a true story…In 1914, the intrepid explorer Ernest Shackleton, and the brave crew of the Endurance, left England to attempt the first Trans-Antarctic Expedition. On route to Antarctica, the ship was caught in the icy waters of the Weddell Sea and sunk. After being stranded for more than 16 months, Shackleton and his crew’s return went unnoticed by a world at war. Their tales of heroic survival and strange findings were lost to time.In October 2002, Captain Henry Furler led an expedition for the National Explorer Association to find Endurance. In December 2002, Captain Furler sent a report announcing his crew had found the ship Endurance and begun to dig her out.Captain Furler was never heard from again.Satellite imagery has found what we believe to be the opening to Captain Furler’s icy tunnel.Your mission is to enter the ice shaft, find the lost ships, solve the mystery of what happened to the crew and escape!

I thought that the rooms were really cool and the GM was very nice and friendly. The puzzles were challenging but did not require any preparation reading or knowledge so that was very welcome as we only knew the basic information on the endurance and its crew

Olivia was an excellent game master. From the moment we walked in asking if we could make two game work at the end of the night. She offered to stay 20-30 minutes late to give us time to play back to back games. The endeavor: thematic and narrative through and through. Such a fun experience and totally recommend it to all escape room players. It should be considered for a golden lock award by Terpeca and Morty. Project Gateway: less in every way. Still fun. But lacking a lot of connective reasoning. Some puzzles were just illogical and didn’t fit any narrative sense. Sequencing DNA? The story is shut off the gateway. It felt like a nonsense time waster with no explanation as to why we’re doing that. All in all we had a great time and wish we had as fun a game master as Olivia any time we come back to Houston.

We LOVED this room. The immersion was top notch and the puzzles were very satisfying to solve. Lots of effects and surprises. The difficulty level is just right for experienced players. Can’t wait to come back for the rest of their rooms.

Staff were great. Room was linear. Felt like we were huddled around one puzzle at a time. Props and room had things falling apart.

Gameplay

Linear room Props are not in good condition.

This game was fun. Bring a jacket it’s cold in that room…spoiler maybe ?!?! The game is a great game just needs some love and a little touch up. One of the better games in Houston by all accounts.

Pros - Really cool thing happens as soon as you enter the room - Set is fitting Cons - Room def falls off after that first cool surprise - Set has a lot of wear and tear, lights that are broken, etc - Barely a story, so no personal investment - Clue pieces for last puzzle misleading 6/10 (it’s fine, not a room I’d recommend)

Fatima as a GM did a fantastic job! We breezed through the initial room, and the reveals into the next spaces are so thoughtfully put together. Only one puzzle really hung us up… but I think if it were put together in a more obvious way experienced teams would shave off too much time. It’s very well done for a private company and we loved the immersive experience! If you ever visit - look for our contribution to the Lock Wall: “Love from Colorado. Team Farple. Room #102.”
