The Hide

My group and I had a great time. It was a perfectly balanced horror escape room that had a great flow. This was a linear style puzzle flow but the immersion kept everyone engaged. Our game Master (Deepak) was amazing and one of the best that I have ever worked with. Overall, Escape Room Era was a great time and I am looking forward to trying their other rooms.

The storyline, props and gamemaster need work to make this room good. This room is good for 4 people unless you want to be standing in the dark with nothing to do. Some lights weren’t working, the game master was hard to understand, ….this was just a miss overall.

Are you scared of the dark? I bet you would be in The Hide! My friends and I finally did this room and the suspense was a whole ‘nother level!!! Our host Zach did a great job setting the scene at the start and I was legit scared. He was also our serial killer!!! Giselly was the voice on the radio and guided us through the investigation! She definitely got our hearts beating like a nail! I normally don’t like using radios for hints but it was awesome with The Hide. The puzzles were straight forward but challenging in darkness. I’ve done a lot of scary rooms in the OC, some award winning ones and one with full contact, but The Hide really made my hair stick up. It’s definitely the rush from hiding and the not knowing what lurks in the darkness with you.

Had an amazing time with this room! Having just done one with a similar gimmick we found the execution here to be awesome! Game wasn’t super scary though did a really great job of building tension and had a couple great jumps for folks in our group. The layout and puzzles were satisfying to complete. Special props to the staff. David on the phone was amazingly helpful and kind. Then at the venue Jacob, Gage, and Stephanie were absolutely incredible hosts and really went the extra mile to leave what I’m sure will be a long lasting impression. Thanks a ton!

Really fun except it's dark. Puzzles would have been better if we didn't have to struggle with them because of the lack of light.

A good beginner scary room. A lot of the difficulty here was the darkness, it is very dark with very minimal lighting. Puzzles were simple enough, and the scares were very predictable. I do appreciate what they are doing here, and I would say this is one of their better rooms. Apparently we were the first group to lock our GM inside the room, so that was fun 😅 they had to call us in the radio and tell us to let her out haha

SO MUCH FUN!!! Conner and Michael were GREAT!! Enjoyed this escape room very much! 😁😁😁 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Connor and Ashley were amazing! Very fun room would recommend 👌. Connor the gm was really helpful. Ashley you scared the crap put of me.
