Scooby, Shaggy, and the gang need your mystery-solving help…or else! The town of Crystal Cove and surrounding areas are being terrorized by monsters and ghosts, and now the local Baroness Maria Richman has gone missing and it is suspected that the ghost sightings have something to do with it! Tasked with solving the crime, you arrive at the same conclusion as Mystery Incorporated. But when you get to the Spooky Castle, Mystery Inc. gets locked out, at the same time you get locked in! You soon realize that they’re able to help by communicating clues via magic portraits inside the Castle. After discovering a secret dungeon and monster lab in the castle, you come to the conclusion that the person responsible almost certainly works in the castle - but who could it be as there are several suspects??

This room was so charming and fun. You get to 'partner' with Scooby and the gang to escape from the castle and find the true identity of the Mystery Ghost. If you're a fan of the original cartoon and love a bit of whimsy, this room's for you!
The gameplay was fairly linear, but it works so well. I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles from start to finish.
Adorable!! Everything from the lighting, prop design, and decor was excellent. The world building was very well done. There are some digital, interactive screens hung around the first section of the experience, but by no means did it take away from the atmosphere.
The Escapology folks are wonderful, lovely people 🥰
Yes
Withoutout spoiling anything, Scooby's puzzle and the wheel on the wall I thought were very clever.
I mean, it's Scooby-Doo. If you suspend your disbelief, you can say you were a special guest in your very own episode :)
Hard
There's multiple difficulty options, and we played on the hardest one.
Mechanical
*Minimal* tech, but the practical items you use interact with the technical parts. Only one tech puzzle didn't involve additional props, and even then I wouldn't consider it *strictly* technical.

Up to four would be comfortable to play.
Not scary
Scooby-Doo level of spooky :)

Young kids would love this room! Everything is easy to reach, and the story is fun for all ages.

Somewhat
Normal amount of movement.
Anyone with mobility limitations would have no problem playing. There is involvement of color to solve some puzzles, and one scent puzzle (which is the only one I definitely needed help with since my sense of smell is very minimal!)
Yes
Inside of a mall, but they have an external entrance as well.
Easy
Free parking in the mall's lot.

Nothing too flashy as far as a room goes, just a really solid experience utilizing a fun IP! If you like the classic Scooby-Doo cartoon, I highly recommend!
All the puzzles were fun! Most were simply, though not in a bad way, but a few really stood out. The two rooms we have done here have had similar layouts that feel linear, but it makes use of it well enough. And for a group of only 2 people, it’s no issue at all!
Super charming, and uses the IP in great ways! Feels like a classic Scooby-Doo story.
The staff are all wonderful here!

The IP was definitely worth it, and used effectively! And there were a handful of true standout puzzles!
Feels like a classic Scooby-Doo story!
Hard
This one has two difficulties, and we played on the harder one. Still on the easier side of hard, but it didn’t feel right to put it at medium. Can’t comment on the easier difficulty of the room.

Given the physical layout of the space, and the linear nature of the room, 2 players is perfect.
Not scary
Though it has that Scooby-Doo haunted charm.

Fun room, but even on the harder difficulty was very straight forward and easy.

This room was fun and pretty straightforward. We were playing with 2 people, played the harder difficulty, had no hints, and we finished with 16 minutes left. We got a bracelet for completing the room too!
Really fun, and just easy enough to run on our own, while having a couple harder and more layered puzzles to keep it interesting.
They were all wonderful ❤️

One of my favorite rooms. I did love the puzzles and the use of tv theme characters was fun.

Fun and family friendly. This room isn’t super difficult, probably to make it more accessible for younger audiences. The Scooby Gang is there to guide you along the way, and it’s pretty fun to help them out on a mystery. More experienced groups might not be challenged, but if you’re a fan of Scooby Doo you’ll definitely enjoy it.

This was done really well. The room is legitimately Scooby Doo and not some kind of knock off. Bright colors, cool lighting, and very high tech makes this a really fun and unique room to do.
