I didn’t care for this room at all. I was bringing a friend to her first escape room, and I honestly felt embarrassed by having chosen this one for her first experience. The room was probably excellent many years ago, but now it’s worn out and looks like many a repair has taken place. Unity has some other decent rooms—this one is not on par with their other rooms. Like at all. We got out with 20 minutes to spare and used no hints except for one explanation of a nonsensical puzzle. If you’ve done more than 10 rooms, you’ll probably figure this one out with ease because it’s pretty dated, in my opinion.
Didn’t flow very well
Needs some serious updating. I get they were going for campy but it just came across as cheap. The number of items in the room labeled “not part of game” ruined the immersion.
I think our GM was having a bad day because she hardly said two words to us. Felt like she really hated her job.
No
What story? When we solved the room, we didn’t even know we had because it was so unclear what we were looking for.
Easy
If you don’t count riddles that don’t make sense, it’s a pretty easy room
Mechanical
One cool techy thing but rest was just standard (and outdated) locks and puzzles
3
Not scary
Has a jump scare for some odd reason. Again, the story is a mob hit story so what’s with the one single jump scare? Didn’t make sense.
8
While it tries to be gory, it looks more like Halloween on a budget so it’s not scary at all
No
But the entire room is worked. Needs serious refreshing.

Not at all
Good for folks who can’t be too physically active
Hearing and vision needed. A couple color-based puzzles

Unity does a good job of making rooms and puzzles that do not correlate with the theme. A lot of the times their puzzles just don’t make sense to the story, their rooms are challenging for sure but that’s because the puzzles tend to not make sense.

You’re on cleanup duty after a mob hit, and have to solve puzzles while trying not to get grossed out. Straightforward, intuitive puzzle flow in a set where it was easy to distinguish clues from set dressing. Excellent beginner room. For a great brunch nearby hit up Take Ur Seat Too!

This room was very underwhelming. The set was mediocre and not immersive at all. We wasted several minutes because one of the sensors didn’t work when we opened a cupboard. The rooms at the Redlands location are way better than the two we have done at this location.
Game play was ok. The room was underwhelming and cheap looking.
Not immersive at all.

The listing is misleading in what the content of this room entails. I wouldn’t consider it scary in any fashion. The unique use of technology in some aspects was a redeeming factor, but overall the immersion in the story was almost non existent.
They had unique mechanics, but left much to be desired in immersive experience.

It was okay. Felt a bit on the cheap side. There were a couple technical issues - one being the lock combination was wrong and they had to just fish out the clue because the GM couldn’t unlock it either. Overall a bit disruptive and underwhelming

It really was a nightmare. We had to argue with the owner about a puzzle that was clearly wrong. It wasn’t until he came in did he realize he was wrong and blamed his game master for setting up the puzzle wrong. He trained her. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth.
