Rating: 4/5 - Small but whimsical with a beautiful vibe and fun characters and quests Pros: ➕I really enjoy the quest-based gameplay, the lighting and descriptions made it clear what you needed to do next. ➕Set is beautiful and magical with lots of little details. It's colorful with great use of LEDs and effects. ➕Puzzles were fun and satisfying ➕More than a single room game ➕Good use of audio and voice work ➕Mostly tech with some padlocks, lots of tactile interactions ➕Storyline is interesting with fun/cute characters ➕Some parts are a bit dark, but they give you lanterns ➕The lobby and bathroom have a cool vibe too ➕The GM/owner was friendly and nice to chat with Minor nitpicks: ➖Set is kind of small, I was hoping it kept going but it stopped sooner than expencted. ➖It's a bit short and easy for experienced enthusiasts. We played as a team of 2 enthusiasts (paid for 3 tickets) with a lot of time left (at least 20 min) and no hints. I'd recommend 2 players. No crawling or climbing needed. My ranking of the Daydream rooms (all locations) starting with my favorite: 1. Botanica Greenhouse (Brimley) 2. Dream Portal (Danforth)

Very gorgeous atmosphere. The most well put together room I've seen. Challenges ranged from simple to hard.

It was a well designed room and the puzzles and tech all worked and made sense but it is not super challenging if you are an advanced escape player and I found the room and story to be geared mostly toward kids and families than those looking for a real challenge.

One of the first escape rooms that really impressed me with set design alone! Absolutely beautiful and you feel immersed, as if in a fairy tale. Staff are great!

Dream Portal was a beautiful set driven fairytale like game that invites you to explore the space and immerse yourself It the story. The puzzles are not particularly challenging for experienced puzzlers but are very in line with the plot and appropriate for the decor. Interesting lockless enigmas that are certainly family-friendly. I do recommend this room as great for beginners and young players, and good certainly for escapers who appreciate attention to set design.

i love coming here because of how beautiful the decor always is and how nice the staff is🌸the puzzles are easy-medium difficulty, but even experts can have fun playing since thr props are so pretty and there’s still a bit of a challenge

actually really enjoyed the atmosphere of this room a lot. all of the props are made with so much love and care you cant hate it. i really enjoyed finding new pieces to touch and play with the story itself wasnt anything great and came to a very anti climactic ending, and the puzzles while good - werent GREAT. they were fair though which was nice (i appreciate a room that doesnt screw you over lol) solid room and GREAT if you love a good atmosphere - can confidently say, i’ve never been in any room like it before 6/10 - good room, would recommend if you’re a beginner or enjoy cool forest aesthetics

This room is genuinely beautiful, so well designed and crafted. I did find that that consequently the puzzles did suffer for it. I didn’t feel like there was very many challenges in the game.

i’m biased as a former employee here, but this room is absolutely fantastic and probably my favourite escape room ever. the amount of love that went into building it and continues to go into maintaining it is palpable as soon as you step in. super creative puzzles and so many little hidden easter eggs everywhere you look (see if you can find the gnome that’s been outcast from the gnome village and locked up in teeny tiny jail!). if you’re an artsy type you will really appreciate the beauty of the forest! truly can’t reccomend enough

I think the atmosphere was great, there were some things in the room that didn’t quite make sense. And a puzzle or two that weren’t working correctly. The game ensure also states you need 3 people to complete this room. My husband my mother and I did this and my poor mother basically just watched us for an hour because there just wasn’t enough to do for all of us. We tried to be inclusive but the room was definitely made for people who are inexperienced with escape rooms or two people who are experienced with these types of puzzles.
