This mysterious attraction premiered at San Francisco's World’s Fair in 1915, but was then immediately condemned for reasons unknown. After an arduous restoration effort, Palace Games reopened this secret marvel of the 1915 fair. We've yet to uncover its odd purpose. This room has some really cool tech and they clearly put a lot of design into it! That being said, I feel like this room is more of a “doing mini games with your friends that are varying levels of puzzley” experience rather than an actual escape room (similar to how Lollyland is a “doing mini golf with your friends that’s sometimes puzzley” experience). I liked it, I had a good time. The first room was a little underwhelming for me given it was hard for more than one person to really “work” on the puzzle at once, and some of the mini games in between were clearly a “no fail” situation where I would’ve preferred… not that. Anyways all in all, feels kinda blasphemous to give this just a thumbs up because everyone I have in Morty has hearted it, but yeah. Really fun experience, but I actually enjoyed Palace Games’s other rooms a lot more.

We played with a team of 8 and The Attraction handled a team of that size well. Puzzles were designed for parallel solving, but also so you could see what other people were doing. To do that with elegance is not easy, but I was repeatedly impressed with how effortlessly The Attraction accomplished it. As for the puzzles themselves, let me say this: I’m not a puzzle first person. I’m probably not even a puzzle third person (I prefer immersion, set, narrative), but I loved how well these were constructed and how they tied into the story. There was one mapping task, in particular, that used an item unlike anything I’ve encountered and led to everyone in the group needing to be involved. The Attraction also has … how to put it? … a sense of humor and playfulness that is crossed with a little bit of a mind f***. I don’t want to say too much more about it, but let’s just say that the game went in directions I wasn’t expecting. There are pop culture references sprinkled throughout. These are divisive with some people, and some say immersion breaking, but by the end it’s pretty clear they serve a narrative function. All of this with a great set and use of tech, makes it a game well worth traveling for, even considering that it’s expensive if you have a smaller team.

This is an epic escape room adventure that I’ll never forget! It was fun to get lost in the story, and the puzzles were just the right amount of challenging to keep a group of 8 engaged and working together. There was some fun unique tech that I’ve never seen before, and they did an amazing job of working multiple different sets with very different vibes into the space. The GM kept the atmosphere going from start to finish, and even when there was a tech glitch, it was handled with grace, and I didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. I’ll be reminiscing on this room for a long time. Looking forward to doing more of the rooms at Palace Games sometime soon!

Truly insane; I have no idea how they pulled off some of the special effects to this day. It was insanely expansive and well done, the puzzles felt balanced.

Palace Games is always a cut above the rest. This was no exception; however, I personally preferred the Edison room over the Attraction. I felt that the puzzles and storyline in Edison were less repetitive than in the Attraction. However, the detailed decor and ambiance in the various rooms of the Attraction were definitely very special and well-executed.

Production quality at Palace Games is always phenomenal. This game isn't their best, in my opinion, but it's still leagues ahead of almost every other escape room I've played.
Storyline was interesting at first, but got a bit repetitive after a while.

The sensor on one of the pull cords in the first room to capture the light was not working. I had to call in the staff to manually reset it.

Such a one of a kind room! There were several game mechanics that blew us away tech wise and the puzzles themselves were plentiful and engaging! You can tell a lot of love was put into this room. Definitely worth a play!

Escaped with about 8 people. I was really excited for this one because there's a lot of hype around it, and I think it fell short of that. The transformative aspect of the room was GREAT and the tech/props were fantastic, but I felt like it was a bit gimmicky and got repetitive.

It would have been more fun if people stayed at their own stations during certain parts of the game. It’s not really an escape room if you cannot fail. Take some magic mushrooms if you really wanna trip during this experience. Although you may or may not really need them. 😵💫

The attraction is the newest room to palace games an it was the best room that we played there… the set design was outstanding and the puzzles flowed well…
