Hi! I like to rate my escape rooms on a 1-5 rating system. Each one I do gets a point as follows: 1 pt - set design, theme, and how well the theme was implemented in the set; 1 pt - novelty and quality of puzzles, did they go with the theme, were they intuitive enough to not induce extreme frustration, did they flow well so it's possible to figure out what to do next; 1 pt - MY satisfaction 😆 ! Was I frustrated more than I was enjoying the room, did I escape, would I want to do it again? Were there *time-sucker* puzzles? I particularly don't enjoy *time-sucker* puzzles. Those are puzzles that are figured out pretty quickly but completing them takes an unreasonable amount of time that eats away at your escape time! Why??? Each of those 3 categories can have an additional point added to them if they exceeded my expectations, so 5s are the best or, conversely, a point subtracted could bring the room down to a 2 meaning I didn't like it. 3 is about average and signifies a solid escape experience.
