Prison BreakCincinnati Escape RoomEscape roomIRLMy family and I have done around 50 escape rooms and this company places near the top for overall experience. We previously did the Upside Down and just did the Prison Break and both rooms had a fantastic flow to them. The puzzles were difficult enough to be challenging, but not so challenging or obscure that you wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out what to do next. The design and puzzles were creative, even with a common Prison escape theme. Staff was very friendly and helpful and location is a cool older building that adds to the atmosphere. Absolutely recommend the Cincinnati Escape room!

We were a bit disappointed with the experience with the staff. With most non-chain, you can tell they have a passion for escape rooms, but with the staff here there was no enthusiasm or passion, it was just a job.
Da Vinci's OfficeEscape Room ExtremeEscape roomIRLOverall a fairly low-tech puzzle heavy room that was entertaining, but nothing to make it stand out. Multiples of the same puzzle (3 digit numeric, 4 letter alpha etc) with no logic to which lock a code would go to was a bit frustrating, and one puzzle that didn't have a clue, you just had to know of trivia for the solution. Host was friendly, but lacked any excitement or passion for the room.
The Ghostly GalleonHourglass EscapesEscape roomIRLA+++ I 100% recommend Hourglass Escapes! First I have to mention the people there. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had an issue flying into town ( luggage didn't make it), and they did everything possible to make sure we were able to enjoy the room. Speaking of the room, we did Pirate escape, and my wife, daughter and I loved it! The puzzles were just challenging enough to make you think and work at them, but still solvable without any hints. Lots of little details and creative puzzles that made this room stand out. This was my 50th escape room and I would easily put this in my top 10. Next time I'm in town I will absolutely be trying out their other rooms which look to be just as good.
