Pirates: Wanted!Quest Room - Culver CityEscape roomIRLThis is a truly beautiful room. The props, ambience, puzzles were crafted with care and longevity in mind. Two years from now, this room will feel brand new. Additionally, our games manager Hunter was exceptional. All that being said, do be aware that this is an EXTREMELY easy room. It is explicitly for children, and no puzzles gave us trouble for even a moment. If you want to experience the pirate theme, go for it 100%, but if you want to be challenged, don’t expect that from this room. I will remember it fondly, but my completion time speaks for itself haha.
Hyde Circus60Out - Silver LakeEscape roomIRLThe room is a lot of fun, and the staff is nice but the puzzles are verrrryyyyy dated. On a few occasions, we got the right code but the buttons were broken or the audio Que wouldn’t play. I would say the room is a super fun vibe and worth booking; but if you are going for a competitive time you will be disappointed. Ambience is 10/10 incredible, but slightly spookier than expected.
Godzilla vs. King Kong60Out - HHLAEscape roomIRLThe atmosphere and effects were really special, some of the best I have seen. There were a few issues however, with the puzzles. They were in concept extremely easy, but many were designed in a way that time gated us or didn’t work without Gm intervention. We also ran into issues with the high tech nature of the room. It was extremely impressive, but if things were not done in the exact intended order it can really mess up the system. As a themed experience, I could not recommend it more. As an escape room, it’s less worth it. Just decide what’s most important to you :)
